Job Title: Pricing Promise Coordinator (PPC)

Job Location: Store

Reports to: Assistant Store Manager

FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt


The Pricing Promise Coordinator executes Rural King's pricing throughout the store. They initiate outstanding sales and service, maintain exceptional store safety, appearance, and cleanliness. They assist customers with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and price questions.


  • Educate associates and customers on the pricing strategy

  • Execute daily price changes

  • Assist department managers with pricing and labels for planogram sets

  • Identify and update any missing pricing throughout the store and outdoor display areas

  • Ensure Pricing Strategy is executed properly throughout the store and outdoor display areas

  • Ensure all pricing categories are represented accurately

  • Ensure quality customer service with Customer CARE practices

  • Set bi-weekly advertisement signs

  • Coordinate "Buy Online, Pick-Up in Store" orders and Internet Transfers

  • Follow up on Clearance Markdowns and continue the markdown process until inventory is sold

  • Update, refill and maintain all margin bin, sidekick and clip strip merchandise displays

  • Reduce inventory shrink by identifying potential causes of shrink and retraining associates on proper procedures

  • Maintain stock of all pricing equipment and signage supplies

  • Direct store associates in assigned department

  • Use general office equipment such as telephone, copy machine, fax machine, calculator, computer.

  • Operate Telxon gun, forklift, pallet jack, ladder, and other retail equipment.

  • May be required to cross train and perform other duties


  • 1+ years retail experience preferred

  • Strong communications (written, oral and interpersonal skills)

  • Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient

  • Ability to multi-task and coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner

  • Ability to work independently without supervision

  • Ability to work a 40-hour workweek with varied hours, days, night, and weekends as business dictates

  • Ability to access and use the in-store computer, scanning system, and wireless handheld unit

  • Ability to participate in our online applicant and new hire onboarding process remotely

  • Ability to complete computer-based training

  • Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time

  • Ability to use a ladder and/or pallet jack

  • Close vision for computer work

  • Repetitive wrist movements on keyboard

  • Ability to walk up and down stairs multiple times per day

  • Ability to verbally communicate effectively and professionally with all audiences (in-person or via handheld transceiver)

We are currently accepting applications for the following position: Nursing Schedule Coordinator The Nursing Scheduler Coordinator is responsible for the overall assurances of appropriate staffing levels are met at all times with accordance to state and federal regulations and budgetary settings. ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS: * Creates staffing schedule for Nursing Department that assures adequate staffing per guidelines at all times. * Adjusts staffing schedule as necessary to compensate for call-ins or any other unforeseen circumstances. * Recommends new approaches and effective scheduling practices to affect continual improvements in efficiency of the staffing of the properties nursing department. * Advises and communicates with Executive Director and Director of Nursing Services (DNS) of all staffing, scheduling needs and/or shortages identified during assessment of nursing schedules. * Serves as a liaison between the DNS, Executive Director and Payroll Coordinator when it has been identified there is a potential leave or assistance situation with an employee. * Handles inquiries and questions regarding various scheduling needs to ensure quick, equitable and courteous resolution. * May conduct initial interviews with nursing assistant and nurse applicants; and recommend an applicant for continuation in hiring process. * May completes reference checks on all potential nursing new hires before an offer is extended. * Assists DNS with tracking/managing/communicating attendance related matters within the nursing department. * Validates PTO time availability with Payroll Coordinator prior to approval. * Serves as a liaison with the Payroll Coordinator, ASC Payroll and HR Departments regarding payroll-related matters. * Schedules new Certified Nursing Assistants for skills validation training to conform with applicable state guidelines.
