You will be responsible for executing the pricing strategy for multiple business units at Cypress. In this position you will be involved in:
Helping to define the direction of company/industry through identification of new trends, and mapping of technology/product development to support those trends through effective segmentation/product definition,
Assisting Biz Units to define new products and segments based on the value offered/market need, - setting and executing pricing strategies in support of business unit objectives
Pricing contracts (VPAs) for OEMs, contract manufactures, and distributors (T&Cs, etc.)
Working with sales/field applications/Product Line Marketing engineers to develop pricing/negotiation strategies for customer opportunities
Working with data science and data analyst to build different data models to analyze, visualize and predict Cypress pricing data sets
Analyzing the competitive landscape to understand and exploit competitive weaknesses, and to maximize market value for Cypress products
Understanding market pricing and the impact it has on Cypress products and the company's profitability.
You must have excellent communications skills, written and verbal, technical and business skills, and a customer service orientation. You should have the ability to juggle multiple projects with multiple priorities and be capable of formulating and negotiating solutions for Cypress and our customers. You should be comfortable presenting to and having discussions with Senior Executives. You will be working in teams as well as individually, and should be capable of building relationships within and outside of Cypress.
Bachelor's degree of engineering, science, finance, mathematics, statistic, or related field
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills, such as negotiation skills, marketing management, business development, process definition and improvement
The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations; competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Excellent planning, organizational, time management and customer/partner relationship management skills;
Basic understanding of cloud-base/SAAS enterprise tools and sales models, such as Oracle ERP, Salesforce
Experience of data cleaning, wrangling, pipeline processing, analysis and data visualization
Passion to learn and follow any industrial edge-cutting technologies and skills
Master's degree in engineering, science, finance, mathematics, statistic, or MBA
Knowledge of semiconductor industry business process or product knowledge of RAM/FLASH memory, embedded system, micro-controllers, IOT devices
Real-world negotiation or market segmentation experience
Experience with Python, R or other scripting language
