Position Summary

Lead execution of pricing strategies for the Firestone Building Products (FSBP) business unit. Approximately $1.8B revenue. Critical strategic partner for Marketing Directors, Sales team members, other members of the Channel Marketing and Analytics department and key leadership to ensure optimization of strategic pricing in order to remain competitive in the building products market. Help provide vision and drive execution for continuous improvement for the pricing processes and optimum deployment of pricing resources. Lead execution of pricing strategies for the Firestone Building Products (FSBP) business unit. Approximately $1.8B revenue. Responsibilities

  • Subject matter expert for FSBP pricing by providing financial analysis, margin information/enhancement opportunities, and impact analysis and direction for proposed pricing strategies

  • Work with procurement, product management and sales to balance volume/market share targets with profitability and recommend adjustments to market pricing.

  • Create analytical models, interpret data and provide recommendations for strategic product/segment/brand price positioning by category, gaining a thorough understanding of the price elasticity within each product category, channel and segment

  • Drive tactical execution excellence across all areas of FSBP Pricing

  • FSBP strategic partner for Finance to ensure accurate pricing data for forecasting/budgeting processes.

  • Provide thought leadership for key critical pricing moves within the building products market by ensuring channel strategies are aligned.

  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in the pricing area by suggesting/implementing changes to current processes and strategies to enable agile/flexible responses to volatile competitive market

  • Identify Key Performance Indicators relevant to the Pricing impact on profitability to drive accountability and performance measurement

  • Build strong cross functional relationships

  • Partner with Manager, Channel Marketing & Analytics to identify and execute critical KPIs, metrics, dashboards to guide/inform senior level key decision makers.

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Working knowledge of SAP systems and capability optimization usiness manager mindset with drive for continuous process improvement

  • Thorough understanding of pricing/cost/margin decisions on company profitability

  • Strong organizational agility to enhance cross-functional communication and collaboration

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of organization

Qualifications

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Marketing Business, MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years in pricing experience preferred
  • 5+ years overall experience

The position will work closely with first party web data (customer information, transaction levels, etc).
