As the Pricing Manager, you support our Life Science Solutions business by building and executing price management plans, strategic pricing projects, and periodic price forecasts and reports. Working alongside product management, marketing and sales leadership, you will define prices and conduct analyses to drive margin expansion while helping achieve other strategic priorities for the business. We are seeking a high-energy, results driven pricing and business professional capable of articulating a strategic vision and executing that vision to deliver business results.

Where is the work:

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.

What you will do:

  • Price Strategy. Manage and define list price, distributor price and various net prices for all products and channels across LSS. Identify and incorporate segmentation strategies (product, channel, market, geographical). Assess price elasticity and channel mix as well as COGS inputs of inflation and annual cost accounting changes.

  • Price Realization. Identify and implement price management strategies and processes (LOAs, special pricing approval process, etc) alongside sales leadership and product management to achieve annual price goals. Partner with Key Account Sales on contract pricing agreements, providing analytical and scenario planning support.

  • Price contract terms and conditions. Establish and support guidelines for sales quotations, contract language, periodic price change timing and boundaries, tie-ins with market indexes, etc. working alongside legal counsel, key account managers, and sales operations.

  • Strategic pricing projects and segmentation. Collaborate, prioritize, and drive strategic pricing projects and other margin expansion opportunities with product management and sales leadership. Support sales with contract development and price management with GPO's, distributors, dealers, key accounts, etc.

What we expect of you:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Marketing, Finance or Data Science with at least 8+ years of relevant experience. MBA is preferred.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and demonstrate influential and effective partnership. Must build constructive relationships with all kinds of people and functions by listening and using diplomacy and tact.

  • Proven track record of delivering results through collaboration with others.

  • Effective at problem-solving with advanced analytical and critical thinking skills. Able to communicate complex topics in a simple way to senior leaders and cross functional team members.

  • Self-starter, data-driven and capable of managing several projects at a time.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $130,000-$170,000 inclusive of base plus incentive

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
