Job Description Summary:

Due to growth, Lazer Logistics has an opening for a Pricing Manager, reporting to the VP of Operations Finance, located in its Alpharetta, GA corporate office. This critical role will be a key partner to the Sales and Operations departments and will be responsible for delivering pricing models, tools and insights. This position will work hand in hand with Sales leadership to prepare compelling proposals for our current and future customers and will also work with Finance to assess the accuracy of pricing models and adjust accordingly.

Job Description:

Pricing Duties:

  • Assessing data from a variety of sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends.

  • Applying statistical modeling methods to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies on profitability.

  • Collaborating with Sales and Operations teams to develop competitive quotes for sales opportunities.

  • Collaborating with Finance team to assess the effectiveness of pricing models and update as needed.

  • Developing dynamic pricing tools to effectively respond to changing market needs and trends.

  • Preparing and presenting pricing analysis findings to Executives and Sales teams.

Initiatives and Process Improvement:

  • Analyze current pricing model, make recommendations for improvement, gain buy-in from affected groups and implement.

  • Develop new pricing models for emerging product lines.Assess the current pricing process for efficiency and effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.

Job Requirements Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Finance, Economics or related business field.

  • 5-7 years of experience.

  • Experience collaborating with Sales and Operations teams.

  • Experience in pricing strongly preferred, experience in logistics and/or automotive is a bonus.

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels in the organization.

  • Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.

  • Key attributes: personal integrity, transparent, ethical, team vs. individual focused, values driven, self-starter, curious, analytical, adaptable, results oriented.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and Power Point. Experience in Power BI a plus.
