The PMT Pricing Director will lead and support PMT global pricing team across all 3 Strategic Business units and all 13 Business enterprises delivering or exceeding pricing goals and objectives. They will be responsible for driving results in value pricing, transactional pricing and full pass thru pricing while growing margins. Focus will include day to day operations and performance management while building contemporaneous pricing process and operations as we move towards greater automation of pricing analysis and decision. The candidate will be responsible for identifying and analyzing price data from a variety of ERP systems using best practices, standard methodologies and tools. The candidate will work closely with marketing and offering management, engineering, field sales organization, key business partners, and senior management to maximize the profitability of the business by systematically employing key pricing levers.

The candidate will define and execute pricing analytics to report Transactional, Pass-Thru, Value, New Products and OEM price agreements' performance on monthly basis while collaborating cross functionally with Finance, Product marketing, ISC, Procurement and IT to support Pricing practice deployment globally.

We are looking for an experienced candidate who can:

  • Develop pricing opportunity funnels to 1.3x - 1.5x of pricing targets

  • Support SEA (Schedule of Executive Approvals) / Standard Price Management (PROS / Vendavo) tools deployment and Global Analytics

  • Report monthly Price performance on Value, Transactional, Pass-Thru and OEM price initiatives

  • Implement, track & report schedule of executive approval, discount management, Price waterfall analysis and target price metrics by product lines / customers

  • Support annual price evaluation process for publication of price books on time

  • Develop and maintain Transfer Price and Customer List Price in multiple ERP systems

  • Research and maintain Competitive Price intelligence database to support Annual price updates, AOP / STRAP

  • Ensure consistent reporting and communication of pricing strategy, deployments and progress

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years' experience in driving business results especially in pricing, data management, financial analysis, and IT / digital tools

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in large, complex matrix organizations


  • Hands-on experience with ERPs / Data systems

  • Absolute comfort with numbers and large volumes of data

  • MS-Excel 2013 expert

  • Price management tools experience preferred: PROS or Vendavo, SharePoint based tools

  • Proactive and able communicator with good listening skills

  • Logical thinking ability with problem-solving skills and attention to details

  • Proactive in identifying issues and ownership to resolve them

  • Experience working with teams across multiple sites/time zones; ability to develop effective working relationships and highly responsive

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to manage large amounts of data, use of MS-Excel, Siebel databases, SAP and Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Objects (BO)

  • Intermediary knowledge on statistical concepts (regression, co-relation, elasticity etc.)

  • Results focused with successful record of accomplishments through skilled use of influence, persuasion, negotiation, and problem resolution

  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills; English as primary language

  • Excellent team building and membership skills
