General Purpose of the Position:

Under the general supervision of the VP/Director of Sales and/or Merchandising, develops, and administers all activities related to the efficient, effective and profitable purchase of product for FreshPoint South Florida, including analyzing margin and maintaining bid guides. Supports OpCo to ensure financial optimization.

Key Relationships: Leadership Team, OpCo Management, Sales Team, Merchandisers

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Develop overall pricing strategy at the item level and review the accuracy on-going.

Analyze use of earned income, if necessary, to establish proper pricing structure.

Lead person for approval DSM tool and all lock sell agreements.

Meet with RSMs, DSMs and Profit Management to review price rules.

Use expertise in the area of specialty food and imports to promote expansion of these product lines.

Help manage opportunities within our wholesale and re-distribution customer base (both existing and new).

Lead OpCo analytics to ensure gross margin optimization.

Run financial impact analyses to understand current core assortment mix.

Monitor specific item market costs.

Lead price management processes (i.e., scripting market costs etc.

Manage OpCo financial reporting to include BI reporting of Realized Equity, Market Variation Report, Underfunded Summary, and Price Management. Incorporate gross margin optimization, equity setting, deal guidance and market cost utilization.

Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve equity, EI and GP$.

Excellent computer skills and have a working knowledge of programs such as but no limited to Outlook, Microsoft Office, Excel spreadsheets.

Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to furnish information to those requesting status of change.

Ability to independently and proactively resolve problems within established parameters.

Ability to plan and carry out assigned projects, resolve conflicts, coordinate work with others and interpret policies and procedures.

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Must have experience with produce.

Must be current with merchandise and market pricing.

Good attendance and adherence to work schedule.

All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

High School Degree or equivalent /Prefer Associate degree

Three years of experience in similar or related position

SAP and AS/400 experience preferred

The Opportunity We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst II to review batch records and release biological products according to established procedures or approved protocols. The Responsibilities * Independently review batch records at various stages of the manufacturing process (from product formulation, QC testing through final product) and approves their final release once it has been determined that all compliance and procedural requirements have been met. * Verify batch record data is accurate; identify batch record issues and open non-conformance's where required * Performs batch record review for customer complaints including final product and formulations. Analyzes each customer complaint to ensure that there are no contributing factors found during batch record review related to the Customer complaint. * Issues manufacturing batch record according to the production schedule. * Trains other reviewers in good documentation practices and the compliance of current quality standard. * Writes and/or assists others in writing standard operating procedures. * Generates moderately complex statistical summaries * Comfortable speaking with internal and external auditors * Adheres to documentation standards required by Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). * Performs other duties as assigned. The Individual * A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Science with a minimum of 2 years of experience at a medical or manufacturing facility; or equivalent combination of education and experience. An educational focus in Medical Technology and experience in Blood Banking will be preferred. * Must be able to rapidly acquire and maintain in-depth product knowledge. * Strong attention to detail. * Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize * Excellent written/verbal communication and computer skills are essential. * Candidate should be familiar with regulations and guidelines of all applicable regulatory agencies, such as FDA (QSR/cGMP), OSHA, ISO (including ISO14001), and OCD Health, Safety and Industrial Hygiene. #LI-Post #CB# #LI-LB1 For this position we will not sponsor applicants for work visas.
