Pricing Analyst

NorthEast Electrical is looking for an exceptional team player to join our Pricing Team!

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Work Location: Newington, NH

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for many aspects of pricing on multiple levels within the organization. The candidate must provide excellent internal and external customer service while maintaining company procedures, policies, and goals set by the organization. The end result is to maintain accurate pricing with the goal on maximizing profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain Pricing Matrix levels across the New England territory

• Manage Pricing execution, including data integrity and consistency

• Take initiative in identifying and resolving issues around pricing and margin

• Responsible for driving, implementing and maintaining a strong pricing philosophy

• Determine customer segmentation and buying behavior to classify customer correctly

• Work with Branch managers, sales & counter personnel to drive pricing recalibrations with the focus on margin enhancement

• Support process improvements and a profitable pricing platform

• Collaborate with sales management and sales writers to reduce overrides

• Analyze and Implement third party pricing file into EPR

• Perform other duties as required or directed by manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred with emphasis on business and/or equivalent knowledge through job related experience and training.

• Minimum of 3 years business/sales/purchasing experience in the electrical distribution industry with strong product knowledge

• Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to teach and help others professionally.

• Proficient analytical and strategic thinking skills

• Excellent computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Demonstrate the ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment while setting priorities, managing a diverse job responsibility, all in conjunction with maintaining company policies and margin goals.

• Eclipse knowledge is preferred
