Pricing Analyst

This role maintains all aspects of pricing execution, ensuring that customer pricing is processed and loaded into the system of record (Movex or SAP) in a timely and accurate manner with data integrity being top of mind. The subsequent communication of finalized pricing internally to sales and externally to customers will

be part of this role. This position will also support invoicing processes and work with Customer Service to automate these processes wherever possible. This will be accomplished through continuous improvement work on all data flow processes related to data upload, to remove the potential for pricing errors that may negatively impact invoicing. There will be interaction with the Deductions group to help triage deductions with respect to getting them resolved as quickly as possible. The role will also entail monitoring and taking action on any pricing issues communicated through pricing helpdesk mailboxes. There will also be additional reporting and project work as assigned.

• This person will be responsible for timely and accurate loading of customer pricing into the system of record for Movex and/or SAP.

• Coordinate pricing processes and manage price approval processes.

• Manage the internal (sales) and external (customers) communication of finalized pricing and National/Customer price lists.

• Support the development of, and ultimately manage the CEP report output with an eye towards actionable results. CEP - Customer Expected Price

• The CEP report will be a tool for the pricing team to analyze pricing coming into our system on PO's. The report will show the pricing currently loaded in the system with respect to what we expect to invoice the customer. Variances between these prices will need to be communicated to sales to understand why

the customer expects a different price than what is in our system This will be critical in mitigating pricing deductions at the front end of the process.

• Support invoicing processes with an eye toward automation.

• Participate in price reviews to have awareness of adjustments for significantcost changes or margin improvement on existing products.

• Manage the daily, weekly and monthly administrative functions requiredto support, and validate pricing execution processes and pricing accuracy.

• Maintain pricing upload templates on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual basis, dependent upon the account/customer schedule.

• Support the financial team in cost-pricing updates and system maintenance (SAP or Movex) and help complete updates as necessary

• Assist in coordination & maintenance of Special Pricing programs/agreements.

• Interpret and implement Pricing Policies and Guidelines properly to ensure data maintenance, quality and integrity in all pricing processes and systems.

• Participate in pricing projects and process improvement initiatives.

• Ensure high service levels for the Deductions/Shared Services group on turnaround for invoicing price discrepancies

• Support Customer service excellence on pricing/order issues.

• Support the development, maintenance, and distribution of relevant KPI's& performance reporting.

• Conduct continuous monitoring and analysis to ensure conformity to company pricing standards.

• Understand and place in practice the appropriate safety procedures througheducation, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following all safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.

• Perform other duties and work on projects as assigned.

• A future phase of this role will be supporting the freight process as it relates to pricing after a joint determination with the Freight group provides direction and scope for the acclimation of necessary freight processes.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in pricing related field is preferred.

• Advanced use of PC and Mainframe based systems to include tools, MSsuite of products, SAP and Movex and Power BI.

• Strong analytical and variance analysis abilities.

• Understanding of system integration to move data across multiple systems.

• Strong MS Excel skill set.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work well with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

• Strong attention to detail is key.

• BA/BS or equivalent is preferred.

• Work is generally performed within a business professional office environment, with standard office equipment available.

• Work conditions are typical of an office environment.

• This role does not require any domestic travel

• Position may require frequent and/or infrequent of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
