Pricing Analyst

The Pricing Analyst role is responsible for setting all prices for new customers at a large volume of stores. The role monitors seasonal trends, operational events, & property performances to set appropriate market prices. This position will own all front-end pricing for one of several of NSA's geographic divisions. The role requires intellectual curiosity & collaborative skills to diagnose performance issues cross functionality & implement optimal pricing strategies for the situation.

• The Pricing Analyst is responsible for all front end pricing changes across 1 internal geographic division ranging between 150 - 300 total properties.

• Become an expert in local storage markets by keeping up to date with seasonal trends, property details, new supply, and changes to competitor pricing.

• Develop relationships and communication protocols with corporate & field staff, ranging from store managers to senior leadership.

• Maintain detailed notes of all pricing actions & documenting operational events.

• Actively search for improvements to business processes & internal revenue management platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline or up to 2 years work experience in a similar field. Previous Pricing or Revenue Management experience a plus.

• Familiarity or technical aptitude to learn business intelligence and visualization tools.

• Advanced user of Excel, able to import and analyze large data sets.

• Must be able to work in Greenwood Village office with flexible work from home arrangements as determined by manager.

General Skill Set:

• Data driven mindset with ability to back up decisions with quantitative reasoning.

• Has a positive upbeat personality throughout the customer acquisitions team & NSA as a whole.

• Excellent oral, written, & interpersonal skills to be able to present ideas & results confidently to peers plus management.

• Desire & capability to independently create, validate, present new ideas.
