What we need:

Brady Corp is seeking a Pricing Analyst who will support the Pricing Manager with analysis, insight and implementation of category pricing strategies for an assigned set of products, while also identifying opportunities for revenue and profit optimization. Develop, implement and review the pricing strategy for the category in collaboration with the Product Management and Sales Teams.

This position will have responsibility for understanding financial transactions; analysis, reporting, data entry and maintenance for contract/price assurance activity; and monitoring usage, performance, and expirations of special pricing programs. This role presents an opportunity to contribute to the overall profitability of the business by supporting our sales and channel teams with pricing analysis and timely insights on product line performance. Creativity, urgency, and a service mindset will help the right candidate be successful in this position.

What you'll be doing:

  • Responsible for analyzing price performance data and generating insights.

  • Evaluate special pricing requests based on Product Management and Sales guidelines to ensure maximum profitability.

  • Create and maintain special pricing conditions within SAP as documented in Contracts and Price Assurances.

  • Establish a good working relationship with Customer Service, Sales, Channel, Global Product Management, and Product Marketing teams.

  • Establish and document processes and procedures relative to pricing analytics.

  • Collaborate with peers to assist in the definition, maintenance and implementation of cross-functional process improvements.

  • Report on pricing/margin performance by product line as determined by product and industry marketing.

  • Responsible for analyzing price performance data and generating insights.

  • Establish a good working relationship with Customer Service, Sales, Channel and Product Marketing teams.

  • Identify the right price position for new technologies and products.

  • Manage Product Lifecycle pricing.

  • Maintain up to date Brady list prices.

  • Validate and challenge cost prices changes.

  • Model, analyze and implement the US category pricing strategies.

  • Maximize revenue and profit through the application of strategic pricing levers and revenue management techniques.

  • Perform competitive analysis and report on Competitive Price metrics across the business.

  • Support cross functional pricing initiatives.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, mathematics, finance, or related field.

  • General knowledge of SAP, Salesforce.com and expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel.

  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex data and insights to a diverse audience either verbally or via written communication.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and willingness to assist teammates in reaching overall objectives.

  • Accuracy, attention to detail, problem solving, and strong decision-making skills.

  • Ability to work without close supervision.
