3M is seeking a Pricing Analyst for the US Operations located in Maplewood, MN. At 3M, you can apply your talent in bold ways that matter. Here, you go.

Job Summary:

The person hired for the position of Pricing Analyst will gather, coordinate and process deviated pricing requests for multiple businesses supported by the U.S. Operations organization. This person will be responsible for fielding deviated pricing requests from internal and external customers, coordinating price deviation review/approval with division personnel and executing the pricing agreements in 3M's pricing systems.

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government, or military environments to a 3M career.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • First point of contact for deviated pricing requests in the supported business(es)

  • Collaborate with Division Sales and Marketing groups to establish and execute price agreements

  • Conduct reviews of price, transaction and customer data in support of Division approval process and provide recommendations

  • Maintain an array of existing deviated pricing agreements, updating where required

  • Recommend pricing process improvements and lead basic improvement projects

  • Interact frequently with multiple internal and external customers via phone and email

  • Lead cross functional activities to ensure alignment on price adjustments and renewals

  • Perform analytics to sync large pricing data sets across multiple systems

  • Clearly and effectively articulate pricing details, summarize pricing actions for key stakeholders, provide business implications, and identify potential courses of action

  • Provide trouble shooting support to Customer Service; identify and resolve root cause of repetitive order issues

Basic Qualifications:

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of (1) year of combined experience in pricing, analytics, finance, and/or marketing in a private, public, government, or military environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excel experience using advanced functions i.e. conditional formulas, indexing, pivot tables, building macros and data visualization

  • Demonstrated quantitative ability; use of large and disparate data sources to solve complex business questions

  • Self-starter with experience prioritizing a time sensitive workload

  • Experience with SAP, Vistex and Vendavo systems

  • Experience with Power BI, Business Objects or other reporting tools

Location: Maplewood, MN

Travel: May include up to 10% travel

Job Summary: To drive the development of the 3M EEBG sales organization through training workshops, personal coaching and consulting; this includes developing new sales training materials and updating existing materials, design and delivery of 3M approved content to newly hired employees as well as sales professionals in basic to expert roles. This is a global role and the candidate must be expert in all sales models from transnational to enterprise.
