Job Description:

As a Price Cost Analyst Senior, you will be responsible for complex supplier proposals within the Aeronautics division of Lockheed Martin. You will review supplier proposals, cost and pricing data submitted and all other factors provided by supplier in support of their proposal.

Daily you will confer with suppliers and analyze supplier operations to determine factors that affect price. Additionally you will prepare reports and charts that present findings. In this role you are responsible to negotiate standard and non-standard contracts with suppliers.

You will maintain communications to ensure timely contract execution by both parties. Provide final contract negotiation documents that are consistent with agreements reached in negotiations. Plan and participate in training of Price/Cost Analysis practices and negotiation techniques to company personnel.

As a senior level analyst, you will be a mentor for less experienced analysts in the group. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. This position requires travel, on average 20-25% domestically and internationally.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in Cost Analysis and evaluation techniques used in assessing supplier proposals (price cost or cost accounting or financial background)
  • Bachelor's Degree with at least four years experience

The Manager will interpret new government legislation and translate into methodology, business processes and systems impact. * Initiation, modification and eligibility within the Federal segment (VA, DOD, FSS, IDIQ, CEC, PHS 340B and TriCare). * Identifies and resolves compliance problems, questions, or pricing requests received from other units of the company, customers, government regulatory agencies, etc. * Ensures timely execution of all components of contract administration. * Evaluates contract proposals, pricing, financial modelling, ROI analysis. * Maintains SOPs, SOX documentation and complies with SOX and internal or external audit requests. * Assists peers and Associate Director in developing and executing recommendations in key strategic and tactical areas which impact pricing calculation to support long and short term business goals. * Interact with various departments and customers including federal agencies, account management, upper management legal counsel, consultants, and government pricing to report on critical information and provide insight relating to government contracting and compliance. * Performs miscellaneous ad hoc strategic analysis as needed. * Lead the Government Contracts team on projects (system upgrades), financial analysis, pricing analysis and contracting incentives. * Liaise with the NPC MMF department(s) to ensure accurate government price reporting.
