As a Price Cost Analyst, you will be responsible for complex supplier proposals within the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) division of Lockheed Martin (LM). In this role, you would be responsible for:
Reviewing supplier proposals, cost and pricing data submitted and all other factors provided by supplier in support of their proposal.
Conferring daily with suppliers and analyze supplier operations to determine factors that affect price.
Preparing reports and charts that present findings.
Negotiating standard and non-standard contracts with suppliers.
Maintaining communications to ensure timely contract execution by both parties.
This position requires travel, on average 20-30% domestically and internationally.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related
discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
Ability to perform and apply cost accounting, pricing, and
estimating concepts and principles
Ability to conduct fact-finding exercises as needed to review basis of price/cost trends and development of key cost indicators
Ability to comprehensively review all elements of cost including direct labor, material, ODC and indirect costs in compliance with FAR, DFARS, GAP and LM procedures
Ability to review Supplier proposals for Compliance with FAR and LM requirements
Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR)
supplements, with a strong working knowledge of FAR Part 15 Ability to utilize analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings
Ability to meet deadlines in a challenging, multi-tasking
Proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Work, and PowerPoint
Ability to travel approximately 25 - 30% of time
