Job Description:

SUMMARYThe primary purpose of this position is to ensure all pricing within the store is correct and in compliance with the Stipulated Judgement and Permanent Injunction, dated April 13, 2000. The incumbent is required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:1. Implement weekly price changes, ad sale pricing, and temporary price reductions.2.

Verify the appropriate signage is displayed throughout the store.3. Audit store merchandise on a daily basis to ensure pricing accuracy.4. Post and remove all signs associated with promotional programs.5.

Verify discounted and clearance items are priced correctly and the associated signage is correct.6. Communicate all pricing errors to the Store Manager and Regional Pricing Specialist.7. Verify the integrity of new plan-o-gram pricing.8.

Ensure all Third Party audits and/or government weights and measures audits arereported to the Regional Pricing Specialist, Regional Vice President, and Vice President, Quality Assurance, the same day they are conducted.9. Interact with the Store Manager to verify scan errors are recorded and the scan guarantee log is properly completed and filed.10. Train new store associates with regard to the correct pricing procedure.11.

Verify the inventory levels of merchandise in advertised events and mark advertisements accordingly when rain checks are issued.12. Maintain records and files related to pricing accuracy information and audits as required by the California Pricing Manual and the Regional Pricing Specialist.13. Oversee that store inventory is regularly inspected in accordance with the ProductFreshness Review Schedule.14. Ensure that all outdated product and product with less than 30 days until expiration is removed from the sales floor to be processed through the established returns process.

Education

Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus a minimum of one (1) year experience in retail; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Position Summary: The Oncology Patient Coordinator functions as an integral member of the Radiation Oncology care team providing administrative expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care in a timely manner. This position ensures access to the Cancer Center clinical team including Radiation Oncologist, Nursing staff and Radiation Therapists. The Coordinator schedules new and returning patients including physician office visits, testing, ancillary services, and in-patient admissions and nursing care. This position completes insurance verification prior to treatment and also registers each patient on the day of service and again each month they are in active treatment. The Coordinator triages a high volume of patient calls according to established algorithms, answering questions, resolving issues and referring patients to the appropriate clinical care specialist. The Coordinator works closely with the Radiation Oncologist and clinical teams to create and manage master clinic schedules and templates to ensure efficient patient flow during daily clinics. This role also obtains registration data within 24 hours of scheduling an appointment/admission to begin the insurance verification, and authorization and/or financial assistance processes with all payors and various Medical Groups. Reports To: AVP Oncology Services Trains: Cope Students & Volunteers, Rotating staff as needed THIS IS A PART-TIME, DAY SHIFT POSITION. Position Requirements: Education: * AA Degree Preferred Experience: * Three- five years' experience scheduling in demanding medical environment preferably in Oncology related services * Customer service 3-5 years' experience in demanding medical environment preferably in an Oncology department * Three-five years of experience in the medical field preferably in Oncology * Admitting experience in the Meditech system 3-5 years' experience preferably in Oncology * Three-five years' experience working with Payers' specifically related to verification of benefits and out of pocket costs for Oncology patients * Three-five years' experience working with clinical trials in Oncology * CT experience in acute care facility. * Trauma experience preferred. Special Qualifications: * Alpha and numeric filing General office procedures. * Receptionist duties. * Extensive Medical terminology preferably in Radiation Oncology. * Maintain accurate records. * Typing speed of 40 wpm. * Computer operation and functionality 3-5 years' experience working with Aria/Eclipse preferred.
