CHARACTERISTICS OF THE JOB RESPONSIBLE FOR CONDUCTING INTERVIEWS AND ASSESSMENTS WITH DEFENDANTS, MAKING RECOMMENDATION FOR PRETRIAL RELEASE WITH SUPERVISION AND DIVERSION.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: ASSOCIATES DEGREE EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE SUSBTITUTION CLAUSE:
HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA AND 3 YEARS JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE EXPERIENCE: 1 YEAR OF JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: (LICENSES, REGULATIONS, CERTIFICATES, ADVANCED EDUCATION ETC.) : MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE MUST BE ABLE TO PASS FBI CLEARANCE TO OBTAIN NCIC CERTIFICATION MUST MAINTAIN NCIC CERTIFICATION TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS AND UNIQUE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: WORK IS TYPICALLY PERFORMED IN AN OFFICE SETTING WITHIN A DETENTION CENTER.
SUPERVISION AND CASE MANAGEMENT OF ADULT CRIMINAL DEFENDANTS AND/OR ADULT OFFENDERS MAY INCLUDE NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, AND HOLIDAYS.
EXTENSIVE TRAVEL MAY BE REQUIRED EXAMPLES OF DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS CLASSIFICATION: INTERVIEW DEFENDANTS IN JAIL WITHIN 24 HOURS OF INCARCERATION.
COMPLETE REQUIRED ASSESSMENTS MAKE RECOMMENDATION TO TRIAL.
MAKE RECOMMENDATION TO TRIAL COURTS FOR PRETRIAL RELEASE WITH SUPERVISION AND DIVERSION.
MONITOR COMPLIANCE FOR CLIENTS RELEASED WITH CONDITIONS OR REFERRED TO DIVERSION.
MONITOR COMPLIANCE WITH CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT.
SUBMIT DETAILED WRITTEN REPORTS TO THE APPROPRIATE ENTITIES.
KEEP STATISTICS FOR THE PREPARATION OF MONTHLY REPORTS.
BROKER COMMUNITY RESOURCES FOR DIVERSION AND CONDITIONAL RELEASE.
APPEAR IN COURT AS NEEDED.
PREPARE AFFIDAVITS OF INDIGENCE FOR THE COURTS.
ENTER DATA INTO PRIM.
OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
