Requirements Candidate must havea High School diploma or GED, and two (2) years of wastewater systems operations or maintenance experience.
Licenses and Certificates :Class "C" Wastewater Certificate of Competency issued by the State of Texas required by time of appointment.Texas Class "C" Driver's License or equivalent from another state.
General Purpose Under general supervision, sample and inspect manufacturing processes and food establishments, their wastewater treatment system(s) and sample their effluent.
Typical Duties Sample and inspect manufacturing processes.Involves:Collect wastewater and sewage samples at business and industry discharge sites for toxins to ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations.Place samplers and flow meters in sewer flows.Conduct random inspections using EPA approved procedures and equipment.Investigate types of treatment processes implemented by the industrial sites.Meet with business or industrial representatives to discuss findings and requirements to comply with regulations.Report violations of wastewater treatment rules and regulations to supervisor for corrective action.Inspect hauled waste to insure only non-hazardous waste is transported to treatment plants.Meet with laboratory staff to insure the chain of custody and collection of quality samples in order to use as evidence in a court-of-law.Operate, maintain composite sample machines and safety equipment.Prepare investigative reports.Maintain daily logs of inspections and findings.

Must support and enforce quality lead instructions and make sure other departments follow quality standards/procedures. Responsibilities * Conduct line monitoring of all production lines in operation; recording measurements and weights. If lines run poor quality, tech will be able to place product on hold and stop line if needed. * Assist in updating or implementing production and food safety aids such as guidelines, scaling weight charts, HACCP, GMP's, etc. * Conduct daily plant walk-throughs and audit GMP and food safety compliance. * Perform freezer inventories and place any product close to "out of date" on hold. * Maintain well-organized, detailed and legible records. * Performs lab testing such as moisture readings, pH's and tta's. * Secure samples involved and help evaluate customer complaints. * Update GMP training and deliver training to employees. * New employee orientation/training. Food Safety Production Areas * Notify Supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are required. * Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy while in the Production Areas. * Perform all duties necessary to meet American Institute of Baking (AIB), Company, and or Government requirements / standards as prioritized by the Company. * Inform Management of ANY Food Safety or Quality issues or of any processes, which become non-compliant with specified requirements. * Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system. * Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system. * Controls further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected. * Inform Management of ANY Food Safety or Quality issues or of any processes, which become non-compliant with specified requirements. * In the absence of immediate supervisor, will assume necessary operational and administrative duties. * Will be accountable to TreeHouse Foods safety and quality principles. * Will support the development, implementation, maintenance and ongoing improvement of the SQF Level 3. * Other duties as assigned. Scope Data Supervise processes plant-wide. Working Relationship Reports directly to Quality Assurance Lead. Works closely with other Quality Assurance Team leader and production managers and supervisors. Supervises processes of all employees.
