To remove product from the production line, inspect it to customer's specifications and pack into designated cartons. Review production order and determine that correct packing materials are available at the line.
Remove finished product from press. Places items in designated packaging; palletize and band for shipment as per production order specifications. Place identification labels on product or skids. Maintains record of all items packed and attaches to the production order with the last item packed.
Line setup, scrap control, quality checks, and any other duties set forth by the Production Supervisor
Complete all required paperwork
Quality, housekeeping, safety, and production issues
High school graduation or its equivalent preferred.
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and to request clarification when needed. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
