SmartTalent is seeking a Press Brake Operator for a client located in Orting Washington. A successful candidate must read blueprints and work orders to determine work to be completed and enter codes into computer entry system.

Job Duties:

-As a Press Brake Operator you will bend material from 24 gauge to inch aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel.

  • As a Press Brake Operator you will Set-up machine and monitor for proper machine functioning

  • As a Press Brake Operator Check machine fluids; if fluids or maintenance is required, Supervisor is notified.

  • As a Press Brake Operator you will utilize push-cart to deliver parts to other areas in facility, as needed

  • As a Press Brake Operator you will operate forklift to move pallets

  • As a Press Brake Operator you will Perform quality checks of finished products and complete quality forms

Skills & Qualifications:

-Knowledge of press brake machine

  • Must know how to operate forklift

  • Must read blueprints

  • Computer entry system

  • Writing utensils

  • Measuring tape

  • Must be able to work overtime

This opportunity is a temp to hire position and is paying $18.00 an hour.

Duties Some of what you will be doing: This position, under the supervision of the Cook 2 and the Food Service Manager, assists with preparing and serving meals to the residents of the Washington Soldiers Home. Key Responsibilities: Assist with preparation and service of food to the population of the Washington Soldiers Home. Assist with the sanitation and safety responsibilities associated with the meal service and production process. Set up and maintain the cafeteria for meal service to residents and guests. Checking freight in according to order guides. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Current Washington State Food Handler's Card. Report to work on a regular and timely basis. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of safe food handling practices and sanitation standards, good personal hygiene, safety precautions, care and use of kitchen utensils and equipment. Twelve (12) months experience in a food service setting. Supplemental Information CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Prior to a new hire, a background check including criminal record history will be conducted. A criminal background check is required every two years.
