Press Brake Operator

Position Overview: Craft Machine is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team.

The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, fold, or straighten metal sheets and plates according to specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Responsibilities: Set up and operate press brake machines to bend metal sheets and plates to precise angles and dimensions Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine bending requirements Select and install appropriate tooling and dies on press brake machines Adjust machine settings, such as speed and pressure, to achieve desired bending results Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy Inspect finished parts for defects, dimensions, and quality standards Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines to ensure optimal performance Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with press brake machines and their operation Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and geometric tolerances Strong mathematical skills for calculating bend allowances and angles Attention to detail and precision in performing bending operations Physical strength and stamina to lift and maneuver heavy metal sheets and plates Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to press brake operations Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds Stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods Visual acuity and attention to detail for inspecting finished parts About Craft Machine: Craft Machine is a leading manufacturer of precision metal components and equipment, with over 50 years of experience in the industry.
