Press Brake Operator - 1St Shift

Pay: $21/hr.  (depending on experience level)

Shift: Monday-Thursday from 5:30am to 3:30pm with mandatory OT on Friday from 5:30am to 10:30am

Summary:

• Cannonball Recruiting is hiring a Press Brake Operator for a high-volume metal fabrication company in York, PA. We are looking for multi-skilled candidates with prior metal fabrication experience.

Qualifications:

• Experience running a brake press/CNC/laser or heavy machinery within a metal fabrication environment; programming experience highly preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, select proper tooling, and hold parts to within close tolerances
• Troubleshoot and perform basic mechanical maintenance
• Familiarity using essential fabrication tools (saws, shears, punches, etc.)
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to quality

Additional Qualifications:

• 5 years prior experience with Press Brake Operation; ability to set-up the dyes and programs for the press
• Work in conjunction with other fabricators, welders
• Measurement, mathematical and conversion skills
• Ability to work overtime when needed
• Must be able to stand for 10 hours per day and lift at least 50 pounds
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening
