Job Description:

Responsible for the effective operations of an operating company that is focused on delivering products to a group of customers within a defined geographic location. This role develops and implements operating policies and procedures across function areas such as: sales, customer service, quality control standards, purchasing, inventory control, materials management, distribution and facilities maintenance and planning. Accountable for achieving established profit, sales and expense management metrics for the operating company.

Conducts and reviews feasibility of new or revised systems, procedures and processes for continuous improvement.

Supervisory responsibilities include performance management, talent development, talent acquisition, and succession planning. Demonstrates leadership skills that promote and provide for a respectful, productive work environment and culture of accountability.

Lead and manage the planning and budgeting process for assigned functional areas in order to meet business objectives by establishing current and long range goals.

Maintain sound public relations practices to improve the company's image and relationships with customers, associates, adn the public. Promote and practice effective communication and adequate flow of information. Represents the organization with customers, associates, vendors, the financial community and the public.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience: 6-10 years successful senior management experience within a related industry.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Education: Bachelors or Masters/MBA Degree

Preferred Experience: 10-12 years' work experience and successful senior management experience within the foodservice industry.

This position delivers products to customers from Sherwin-Williams paint stores. It is responsible for ensuring that deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner. This involves loading customer orders properly on the truck, ensuring that appropriate forms are completed, following designated routes and time schedules from a mobile device, and delivering merchandise to the customer in a safe and timely manner. Delivery Drivers may also be called upon to perform other tasks as needed, including warehouse duties, tinting and mixing customer orders and waiting on customers in our paint stores. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: * Must have the authorization to work in this country without visa sponsorship. * Must be at least 21 years of age. * Must have a valid and unrestricted driver's license, and an acceptable driving record from the State Bureau of Motor Vehicles. * Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently. * Must be able to tint paint, therefore, must have good color perception. * Must be able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Must have a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (ME Certificate) from a Department of Transportation (DOT) licensed "medical examiner" listed on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) National Registry. If you are selected for this position and do not have a current ME Certificate, you must be able to obtain one within five business days of receiving a conditional offer of employment.
