POSITION SUMMARY
The President of PCS is the senior executive officer of the corporation responsible for all aspects of managing the business for successful growth of (PCS) shareholder value. Further, to benefit the Wayne Brothers Holding Company (WBH) shareholder value through supporting the vertical integration of building supplies, industrial supplies, and equipment assets for the various operating groups. The President will plan, develop, and retain the proper management / staff for purchasing, inventory control, shipping, maintaining and sales of all appropriate material product lines and also for renting and or sales of all appropriate equipment lines. This position will be acutely market focused on construction and industrial services companies, while building and growing the PCS team to serve all valued clients including all Operating Divisions of Wayne Brothers Holdings Company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Strategic Leadership
Create an organizational structure for future PCS management and support team with career growth and succession plans included
Grow the PCS team members' skills, competencies, and employee count.
Create and execute a strategic plan for PCS to include growth of market share and geographical footprint.
Encourage the engagement and collaboration among PCS, Wayne Brothers employees.
Provide Executive level oversight of PCS Balance Sheet and P&L through interactive involvement with CFO of Wayne Brothers Holding Company.
Execute operational plans to achieve financial goals set by PCS Board of Directors.
Maintain a Client Focus
Engage with and understand the needs of all clients
Serve internal and external clients' (customers) needs equally
Grow a comprehensive client base by building mutually beneficial relationships.
Develop and execute operational plans to become the #1 vendor for WBH and all premier external clients. Create the "PREFERRED" brand awareness.
Duties through Direct Report Managers:
PCS Sales/Warehouse Executive Job Duties: Direct Report to PCS President
Inventory Management
Forecast inventory needs
Manage cash flow and credit related to inventory
Monitor inventory levels and adjust as necessary
Logistics and Distribution
Plan for and procure necessary fleet assets to facilitate distribution of products.
Plan for warehouse locations, facilities, storage, staffing and flow
Optimize transportation means, routes, times, costs and partnerships
Marketing and Sales Planning
Drive development of Marketing and Advertising Plans
Establish One, Two and Five Year Sales Goals to guide resource development for the PCS Material Sales Division
Provide Executive Coaching and Sales Career Development planning for team members across all regions
Strategic Partnerships
Cultivate strong relationships to allow for understanding of market, needs, trends and risks
Negotiate win-win terms with partners
Identify and cultivate relationships which should be developed in order to better serve our team and grow our client base.
Technology and Software
Utilize a technology platform to manage finances, logistics, inventory, orders and key performance indicators
Continually evaluate software and hardware options to manage the above
Work with technology team to facilitate proper data security
Heavy Equipment Executive Job Duties: Direct Report to PCS President
Manage Procurement of Heavy Equipment
Put together an annual capital budget based on needs of WBH Company and other target customer groups.
Develop applicable platform / formula(s) to determine ROI for each category / type of equipment
Understand Off Balance sheet "Values" of equipment fleet and report same to BOD on semi annual basis.
Determine best practices for purchase/RPO/lease/rent of equipment by category.
Work with finance to create long term fleet acquisition plan based on available cap ex/credit
Manage Heavy Equipment Life Cycle
Manage Preventive Maintenance program planning for optimum life expectancy
Managing repair services planning to increase utilization of fleet
Executive overview of Service Management for efficiency and prioritization
Provide guidance to profitability targets for equipment categories and engine hour targets for disposal for specific
Assist Equipment Manager with the Financial Management of the Equipment / Vehicle Fleet to:
Properly evaluate and set equipment rates
Collaborate with accounting to set appropriate depreciation schedules by type
Create and increase visibility around equipment profitability, utilization and engagement
Assist Equipment Manager with the Utilization of Telematics on Equipment / Vehicle Fleet to:
Review telematic reports and create initiatives to improve future reporting outcomes.
Assist the Logistics and Shop Manger with Fleet Services Planning to:
Manage and improve the processes for facilitating efficient mobilization of equipment to and from project sites.
Manage equipment repair shop's with technician support to allow for increased up time and decreased repair time on heavy equipment

Education and/or Experience
AAS in Business Administration, Business Management Technology or a related field- required
BA or BS in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field - preferred
Ten years of progressive experience in the construction sales industry or related field
Five to seven years work experience at senior management level, with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop staff - required
Executive Leadership training experience (i.e., association, chamber, other) - recommended

Working Conditions
This position exists within a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, scanners, and photocopiers.
Periodically the position will need to visit various customer project site locations for relevance.
Position will frequently attend and be involved in industry conventions, association meetings and trade show / exhibitions.
