The Preschool Teacher III is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum for preschool-aged children. They create a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Description

1.Design and implement a comprehensive and age-appropriate curriculum that addresses the developmental needs and interests of preschool children, incorporating various learning domains such as literacy, math, science, social studies, art, and music.

2.Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities and daily routines that promote learning, creativity, and socialization.

3.Establish and maintain a structured and positive classroom environment that encourages cooperation, respect, and self-discipline, with clear expectations, rules, and routines that promote a sense of security and belonging among students.

4.Facilitate learning experiences that stimulate children's curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills, using developmentally appropriate practices and differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of individual learners.

5.Establish open and ongoing communication with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on children's activities, progress, and milestones, and collaborating with families to support each child's individual needs and goals.

6.Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines and any specific dietary requirements.

7.Foster positive relationships with children by engaging in meaningful interactions, active listening, and providing emotional support.

8.Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with research-based practices, emerging trends, and regulations in early childhood education, and continuously strive to improve teaching effectiveness and student outcomes.

9.Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior incidents, assessments, and other relevant data, and prepare progress reports, portfolios, and other documentation to communicate children's achievements and growth to parents and administrators.
