OACAC Head Start is seeking motivated team members for the position of Head Start Preschool Teacher Assistant.As an Assistant Teacher, you will create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that helps children reach their highest potential while partnering with parents and your co-teaching team to help make this happen.You will show exemplary responsive care, while demonstrating classroom management skills, lesson planning and developmentally appropriate practice.Join a team that values community and relationships!

Salary Range: $14.92 - $17.69

Requirements: Minimum ofHS Diploma/GED AND six (6) college credit hours or Preschool CDA.Experience working with preschool children. Willingness to obtain CDA Credential.

Preferred: Early Childhood degree.Copy of transcript required with application.
