Job Description

Amazing Athletes is currently hiring for the position of Part-Time Mornings Preschool Sports Coach. As a coach, you will be responsible for leading sports classes and activities for children ages 2 to 6 years old. You will have the opportunity to introduce children to a variety of sports such as soccer, basketball, football, volleyball, baseball, tennis, hockey, golf and lacrosse.

Schedule

Coaches will work 2-3 hours per day between the hours of 9:00am and 12:00pm (noon). This equates to 3 -6 classes per morning.

We require our coaches to be available Monday through Friday mornings. Coaches who are available on Saturday mornings would be a huge plus but it is not mandatory.

Location

We work at preschools and public locations in Avondale, Kennett Square, Chadds Ford and West Chester. Must be willing and able to drive to all of these towns with your own transportation.

Pay Rate

Our HEAD COACHES start at $25.00 per hour with raises every 6 months! Minimum 2 hours per day and maximum of 3 hours per day. Most coaches coach anywhere from 10-20 classes per week depending on their schools enrollment. The longer a coach is with us, the more classes we can add to their schedule if you'd like.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate sports classes for preschool-aged children (curriculum provided)
• Teach children basic sports skills and techniques in a fun and interactive manner
• Promote character development and positive social interactions among children
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children during classes
• Communicate with parents about their child's progress and achievements

Requirements

• Prior experience working with preschool-aged children is a plus but not mandatory
• A passion for sports and fitness and the ability to convey that passion in the form of a fun, high energy class
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage and motivate children in a group setting
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
• Reliability and punctuality
• Must be able to pass all required background checks to work in a preschool/daycare.
