Reports to: Vice President of Operations
As a Regional Director for the largest private school on a single platform in the world, this position is responsible for upholding our academic rigor while continuously evolving our teaching best practices within a collaborative, and creative work environment. This role supports the Vice President of School Operations Preschool in the delivery and consistent execution of a world class educational experience for our students within each and every Spring Education Group classroom in the Preschool space.
Leading a designated and innovative team of professionals, and collaborating closely with all operations stakeholders, this person directs and oversees all school operations at multiple sites within his/her geographic area as assigned by the VP of School Operations. The Regional Director is expected to be in the field at least 75% of the time.

Key Leadership Responsibilities:
Provide transformational leadership, strategic focus, and academic excellence in alignment with Spring Education Group mission, values, and strategic imperatives
As designated by the VP of School Operations, oversee multiple campus operations, including quality measures for leadership, safety, school business goals, and classroom instruction. Ensure excellence in teaching is consistently executed within a nurturing environment for our students, families and employees
Conduct regular campus visits and report up to the VP of Operations on overall performance of each campus, providing quality control measures to ensure adherence and compliance to Spring Education Group standards, policies, budgetary and enrollment goals
Ensure each campus operates within budget and meets enrollment targets
Ensure that all health and safety measures are in place and audited at every campus
Assist in the continued development and implementation of a comprehensive leadership training program for both new and veteran leaders
Supervise, guide, mentor, train, retain, and coach campus leaders as assigned
Ensure our people practices support and align with our inclusive and high performing culture
In collaboration with key stakeholders, hire, onboard, develop, reward, and promote exceptional teachers, leaders, and campus staff
Partner closely with the VP of Admissions and Enrollment, the Finance team, and the VP of School Business, to develop campus leaders who are savvy in managing and growing their campuses. This includes establishing clear goals and managing key performance indicators (e.g., academic outcomes, campus scorecards, dashboards, parent and teacher satisfaction surveys)
Observe, coach, and maintain high levels of teacher performance and consistent practices across campuses - ensuring all teachers receive regular feedback, coaching and development; provide instructional coaching to leaders
Work closely with the Education Team in attaining and maintaining accreditation and supporting the delivery of teacher professional development
Coach campus leaders to address performance issues with discretion and sensitivity. Provide accurate, timely and actionable feedback
Provide exceptional internal and external customer service and foster a diverse and inclusive school environment
Model personal professional development by attending seminars and conferences, and reading current theories/research on education, child development and leadership
Education and Work Experience:
BA or higher, with 5+ years of experience as Head of Schoolleading school operations
Prior experience leading cross-functional teams with full oversight of all aspects of campus business
P-12 teaching experience or head of curriculum development, corporate L&D
Three to five years of successful multi-site management in education or related environment, preferred

Physical Requirements:
Position frequently involves long hours and widely diverse duties. Must be able to bend, stoop, and perform extensive walking. Occasionally, lift up to 30 pounds. Generally works in a standard office environment. Works in a fast-paced, environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines and a diverse array of contacts. Extensive computer time and extended periods of sitting. Travel by car and air is required.
