As a Private Preschool or Pre-K Teacher at Primrose School of Evergreen you will help young minds explore, discover and understand the world around them. We are seeking an experienced, creative and enthusiastic preschool teacher to plan and implement an ongoing program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of each child, in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning approach to teaching and learning.

Primrose School of Evergreen is an accredited private preschool that provides a premier educational child care experience. We offer year-round programs for children from infant through elementary school age.

We may have other teaching opportunities in our Infant, Toddler, Two's, Preschool, Pre-K programs.

What Your Experience Looks like as a Primrose Teacher:

• Dedicated Education Coach to help you develop your skills and thrive in your role

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervises and manages daily functions for a class of children in a teacher

• The teacher provides an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration, and decision-making by the children

• Teachers should be able to assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis

• Observe all rules and regulations about the health, safety, and care of children

• Plans with the Education Coach and implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule using the Primrose School curriculum outlines and materials

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have patience and a strong desire to love and nurture young children

• MUST have 12 core Early Childhood Education units with a grade of C or better (Child development, Child-family-community, Curriculum).

• Must meet required state background check

• Must be able to work on iPad to enter children's daily logs, and write incident reports and messages to parents.
