Job Title: Preschool Childcare: Wrap-Around Childcare Program

Childcare Hours:

Monday - Thursday

Before School: 7:00 - 8:15 a.m.

After School: 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Hiring all shifts: before school, after school, or both shifts.

Qualifications:

1.18 years of age or older

2.CDA preferred

3.1-5 years of preschool or childcare experience

4.Completion of fingerprinting/background check

5.Submission of a negative Tuberculosis test

6.Willingness to complete all professional development requirements of the position

7.CPR and First Aid Certification are required within the first 60 days

Job Responsibilities:

1.Provide care to Thornapple Kellogg preschool students before and after preschool programming.

2.Ensure children are provided a safe and secure environment that is welcoming to all students in care.

3.Foster a positive and caring relationship with students and offer enrichment activities as an extension of preschool programming.

4.Work collaboratively with other program staff to plan and implement daily care of students.

5.Comply with all Michigan Child Care Licensing Regulations.

Compensation:

$14.23 - $15.10 starting hourly rate
