Job Description:

As an Assistant Preschool Principal (Assistant Center Director), you will be responsible for supporting the center director with the overall operations of our school, including budgeting, staffing, classroom support, marketing, enrollment growth, staff and family engagement, community engagement, and maintaining DCFS regulations.

Employment Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.

• Complies with all company and state-specific standards and maintain validation of required credentials for the position.

• Complies with all state-specific education requirements. Must have one of the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services field.

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services field and 1 year previous experience as an Assistant Center Director in a licensed child care facility.

• Awarded CDA in Infant/Toddler/Preschool and 2 years previous experience as an Assistant Center Director in a licensed child care facility.

• Completed required 45 DCFS training hours, including VPK requirements.
