The PreSales Solution Architect will partner with Sales team to perform discovery meetings with potential clients and customers, understand requirements, conduct analyses, and use those findings to build and present solutions, create a technology use vision, and drive the opportunities to successful closes.
Work as technical sales specialist across the Microsoft technology and business application platform.
Identify the business application requirements as they relate to any Dynamics CE modules including Sales, Marketing, Project Service Automation, Field Services, Customer Service or other operational requirements through discovery meetings.
Configure and present tailored solutions showing how Velosio solutions can fit in the prospect's organization.
Assist sales team in qualifying leads and prospects for sales pursuits.
Participate in the transition from the sales team to delivery team.
Serve as a Velosio Solutions Evangelist throughout both internal and external communities.
Attain appropriate product and solution certifications as necessary.
Support team members on practice development strategies and team initiatives.
Demonstrate knowledge of ISV and market solutions to effectively resolve client pain points and close gaps.
Participate in Velosio sponsored marketing events, such as webinars and conferences.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or equivalent business experience through the use of solutions.
3 years of experience in system design or information systems or related business experience through the use of solutions
3 years of architecting or heavy use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE (CRM) or other similar product; experience in Project and Field Services desired.
Comfort with learning new technologies such as those that relate to Power Platform, Azure and Cloud Services
Ability to translate experience to creatively solve client business, process, and application issues
Excellent presentation, communication, and client development skills to effectively present information to C-level management, public groups, board of directors, or other defined groups of individuals
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, attention to quality, self-motivation and a strong desire to succeed
This position work remotely; travel required up to, and may exceed, 20%
