A successful Presales Project Manager will lead a team of functional project contributors and subject matter experts to plan solutions which satisfy business objectives within a sales engagement. The Presales Project Manager will interact with customers to refine our understanding of their of business needs and translate into digital marketing and/or technical requirements, assumptions, time, and cost to meet mutually agreed success criteria.
Support the Sales and Client Services teams to win contracts, upsells, and renewals.
Successful planning of projects is critical to creating an environment for our customers and colleagues to be successful. Your job is to strike a balance in preparing quality solutions while managing the speed and cost expectations of stakeholders in the sales engagement. After a customer signs a contract, your project will be handed off to an Implementation Project Manager who will lead the fulfillment teams in the execution of the Statement of Work which you prepared; their success depends on your ability to lay the foundation for success.

Define Project Boundaries -- Set realistic and achievable boundaries for the project to be successful.
Serve as the link between the project objectives and the strategy required to fulfill those objectives and provide a feedback loop to apply lessons learned.
Identify and manage risks preventing the attainment of a project's business objectives, within the constraints of the solution phase of the sales cycle.
Support the Sales and Client Service teams in the preparation and delivery of proposals to prospects and customers.
Frequently attend customer-facing calls and occasionally attend in-person meetings -- may require travel multiple times per month during peak sales quarters.
Contribute to organizational process assets; help build and improve our processes, templates, tools, and techniques.
3+ years of experience leading projects (PMP certification is a plus)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experienced interfacing with executive level contacts and comfortable in a presentation setting
Business acumen; ability to speak in non-technical terms while describing industry jargon -- can correlate business impact.
Strong digital marketing background, has a proven track record of developing and implementing online strategies
