Tastes on the Fly San Francisco is looking for hard-working and dependable pantry and prep cooks to join our team at Mustard's Grill in the International Terminal.
Must have experience and positive attitude All candidates must pass a 10 year criminal background check and airport security training to obtain a security badge required to work in SFO Airport.
POSITION TITLE: Prep Cook ($16.95 per hour) REPORTS TO:
Sous Chef/Executive Chef SUMMARY: The prep cook position is responsible for the bulk of the prep that is performed in the back kitchen in accordance with the chefs direction.
This position includes, but not limited to, the ability to read, understand and follow recipes, proper preparation of all assigned tasks, and ability to conform to the chefs immediate needs.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES: These are essential functions and the percentages are estimates only.
85% - Preparation of specific food items 15% - Cleaning the back kitchen on a consistent basis OTHER: Maintain regular and prompt attendance in conformation with company standards and policies.
Employees with irregular attendance may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Consistent time and attendance is essential to the successful operation of the department.
Maintain a professional demeanor with co-workers and guests at all times.
Maintain a professional and hygienic appearance at all times.
Report to work in a clean and complete uniform.
Due to the seasonal nature of the restaurant industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to accommodate the business needs of the restaurant Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with the Tastes on the Fly SF rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of its business.
Employees who violate these rules and regulations may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY: Individual must posses the following knowledge, skills and abilities and must be able to demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the position.

Removal of trash, recycling, debris etc from your area Deep cleaning projects Dishwasher duties Perform any and all other duties asked of you related to the operation of the restaurant QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination of education, training and work experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Successfully pass an extensive 10 year criminal background check conducted by the FBI.
Successfully pass basic computerized employment testing and in-person interview EXPERIENCE: Prior restaurant or food preparation experience and/or education

San Francisco AIDS Foundation has worked to create such a future since 1982 through education, advocacy and direct prevention, substance use health and supportive services. More than 25,000 people every year access free HIV testing and STI screening, harm reduction and syringe access and disposal, community engagement, and health navigation services. We need passionate agents of social change, vanguards of public health, and creative problem-solvers to join our fight. Position Overview: The Benefits Coordinator is a resource to support persons seeking to access to various health services with a special emphasis on HIV Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP). This position will support people in understanding and applying for public and private benefits, accessing medical care and medications, and maintaining benefits already received. This position will be an integral part of the sexual health team. All Benefits Coordinators serve as HIV testing counselors in the clinic, Covered CA Certified Enrollment Counselors, Notary Publics, and PrEP Assistance Program (PrEP-AP). Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Benefit Counseling: Provide counseling and advocacy to clients in need of assistance accessing PrEP, nPEP, Interim ART, and comprehensive medical care. Provide information and referral to connect client to appropriate services. * Coordination and Enrollment: Coordinate client participation in benefits programs such as Patient Assistance Programs, Medi-Cal, Medicare, Healthy San Francisco, Covered CA, PrEP-AP and other insurance programs. Also will consult with counterparts in other regions to learn from their experience and drive regional and national solutions to recurrent challenges. * Documentation: Maintain concise documentation and service notes according to departmental standards; including chart notes, access timelines, and refill timelines. * Collaboration: Work with nursing team to ensure proper treatment and follow up. * Quality Improvement: Monitor and evaluate programming for continuing quality improvement, achievement of contractual requirements, and compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. * HIV/STI Testing Counseling: Provide client centered HIV/STI counseling services. * Adherence and Access Counseling: Conduct phone and email based follow up and referrals to ensure access to appointments and medication. * Education and Outreach: Serve as a community leader in PrEP advocacy and education through community talks, workshop facilitation, boot camp trainings, shadowing partner sites, and outreach to target groups. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of HIV/AIDS and STD prevention, transmission and epidemiology. Ability to discuss HIV/STI risk and harm reduction strategies. Ability to discuss sex and sexuality comfortably. Working knowledge of the harm reduction model. Knowledge of specialized benefits, such as COBRA, Medi-Cal, Medicare Parts A,B and D, and private medical insurance. Knowledge of the San Francisco Department of Public Health Community Health Network and HIPAA compliance. Experience need not have been on a full-time basis.) * Required: Current California Certification as an HIV Counselor (can be obtained within 6 months of hire as part of onboarding process * Work or volunteer experience in health education, sexual health, health insurance navigation, and/or PrEP preferred. * Bilingual English with Spanish, Portuguese (Brazilian), Cantonese and/or ASL preferred.
