Job Overview

Would you like to prepare delicious seafood dishes for our guests and play a critical role in the kitchen? A Prep Cook at Red Lobster is an important kitchen position where you will prep food items to be cooked and maintain a clean, organized work area. Prep Cooks are also responsible for food storage and ensuring the correct ingredients are readily available for our culinary team.

What You Need to Succeed

  • The Willingness and Ability to Cross-Train and Work in Multiple Positions We believe in the concept of ONE Kitchen, where your training and flexibility will enable you to become an expert in all Heart of House roles

  • Skills to Make the Grade Multi-tasking, organization skills, and ability to follow recipes to assist in creating delicious dishes

  • Job Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age, any culinary education is a plus!

  • Perform the Physical Demands Remain on your feet for several hours at a time, be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds, ability to withstand higher temperatures, bend, kneel, and stoop

Product Prep Assistant works closely with all members of the photo studio during normal business hours. Must have knowledge of fabric in order to fold, steam and press all product for photography. Basic sewing skills required for hemming pants. Must be detailed and organized. Basic computer skills (Outlook, FileMaker Pro). This is a support position Key Areas of Responsibility * Receive and organize product * Schedule and organize the production workflow * Steam, press, fold and occasional hemming of product * Organize ties and pocket silks that are returned from previous photo shoots * Communicate with stylists and merchandise coordinators for any priorities * Maintain the prep area style guides as updated by stylists. * Provide support to merchandise coordinators when needed * Order maintenance for irons, prep tables, Industrial sewing machine, folding boards and prep area supplies Qualifications * High school Diploma * Ability to prioritize and organize workload to adhere to product calendar deadlines and handle stressful situations * Some sewing skills and knowledge of fabrics; ironing and steaming skills * Partners cross functionally, builds strong relationships with diverse groups of people * High level of initiative and works well in a team environment * Ability to execute independently with minimal direction * Outstanding follow up, detail-oriented, strong organizational skills * Good written and oral skills * Basic computer skills/ Word, Excel, Outlook and internal programs including merchant systems * Must be able to quickly fold, steam and press garments for e-commerce photography * Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds #LI-KG1 Tailored Brands Fremont CA
