Purpose of the Position
The purpose of this position is to perform production duties such as baking, roasting, frying, etc. The position is also responsible for assisting customers with meal choices and serves on serving line by preparing customer plates.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Related to Position
Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures
Knowledge of performing food service line serving and prep functions
Ability to follow directions both verbal and written
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. on a fairly continuous basis
Ability to stand for prolonged periods where wet processes are used
Ability to wear protective footwear
Ability to work in congested work areas
Ability to work in extreme temperatures
Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment

This is an HOURLY position and does NOT entitle the incumbent to Commonwealth of Virginia benefits and is limited to 1500 hours in a 365-day period;
Selected candidate will be required to attend a 2-Day New Employee Orientation Program;
