As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering the highest quality patient care according to the specific orders of each patient's individual physician. This will involve, utilizing your knowledge and skills to educate patients and their families on prevention and healthy habits.

Additional responsibilities for this health care role include:

  • Monitoring patients' conditions and assessing their needs

  • Collaborating with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients

  • Administering patients' medications and providing treatments according to physicians' orders

  • Qualifications*
    Current RN license that allows you to practice in our state

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program

  • Experience as a Registered Nurse preferred

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required

  • Specialty certification (ex: CCRN, CNOR, CEN) preferred

  • Additional certification or licensure may be required for some specialty areas

Interventional Radiology Nurses are vital members of the radiology team, providing patient care during minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. he IR Nurse provides critical nursing care to the patient while assisting the Interventional Radiologist, Vascular Surgeon, and Endovascular Neurosurgeon in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.You have a talent for planning and coordinating which patients and their loved ones appreciate. Responsibilities Providing education to the patient and family members: Includes ensuring the patient and family members understand the procedure and plan of care before signing procedural consent and providing them with discharge planning/instructionsPreparing patients for procedures: Includes checking and verifying vital signs, meds, NPO status, lab results, and medical historyAdministering medications including moderate sedationMonitoring patient patterns and vital signs during the procedure Qualifications Diploma in Nursing from accredited nursing program or Associates Degree in Nursing requiredActive Registered Nurse Licensure in Arkansas or eNLC licensure with multistate privileges in good standing with the Arkansas Board of Nursing.
