Successful and growing Jacksonville office of the worlds largest Plaintiffs trial firm is looking for a Premises Liability Paralegal to work directly with an attorney in our Personal Injury Department in a fun, fast-paced office environment.


The ideal candidate must have 3+ years experience in personal injury litigation or liability insurance defense litigation with strong computer and keyboarding skills and knowledge of Word and Excel.

Duties include but are not limited to preparing discovery responses, medical summaries, client and physician relations, mediation preparation and trial work. We are looking for another energetic, caring person to join the Morgan & Morgan team!

The candidate should have the following minimum qualifications:

1) Litigation Paralegal experience.2) Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.3) Strong written and verbal communication skills.4) Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.5) Excellent personal skills, including experience meeting and communicating, in person, as well as orally and in writing, with clients, opposing counsel and expert witnesses. Lots of client contact and opportunity to manage a significant caseload.6) Experience calendaring discovery and litigation deadlines and deposition

About the team Our Jacksonville Baymeadows Team primarily provides customer support to consumers via telephone and/or Internet, e.g., instant message, email. Handle customer inquiries and resolve simple and basic support issues, such as address changes, processing orders, warranty or billing/payment. For product or service-related issues, will move customer to appropriate Product Support Specialist. GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Compiles data from legal digests, encyclopedias and practice manuals. * Assembles, proofs and edits drafts of contracts, leases, licenses and insurance policies. * Prepares and files legal documents with appropriate entities as required. * Conducts research on projects as directed by corporate attorneys. * May review and ensure FIS is in compliance with regulations. * Researches issues and provides supporting information when necessary. * Assists in monitoring pending legislation as it pertains to business line. * Acts as liaison between company attorneys, outside counsel, organizations and in-house employees. * Maintains a file system for legal documents and may act as legal librarian ensuring reference materials are current. * May assist with the review and preparation of patent material and applications. * May draft minutes of corporate meetings or review and evaluation. * Works independently focusing on work that is often confidential in nature. * Other related duties assigned as needed.
