As a result of continued growth in HSBC Channel Islands and Isle Of Man (CIIOM) Wealth business, we have a number of opportunities for an experienced Regulated Relationship Manager to join our team servicing our international Premier Expat customers or our island based Premier customers within branch, whether you prefer face to face client interaction or servicing international customers we have opportunities for you.

Our Wealth Management teams provide a range of services to HSBC customers both in the CIIOM and in our international Expat business, supporting key life events, such as saving for university fees, buying a new home to retirement; whilst protecting their family and interests for every eventuality, providing confidence and reassurance.

We support every aspect of a customer's financial life, helping them to grow, manage and preserve their wealth and provide a professional service in a world of increasing complexity. This includes a greater range of financial products and solutions, and a better understanding of our customers' affairs. For us, Wealth Management is genuinely a relationship-based service.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and support a portfolio of international and/or CIIOM Premier customers

  • Act as a trusted adviser to our new and existing customers providing holistic financial advice and supporting them through key life events such as investing for your future, saving for a new home, planning for retirement or protecting their family for every eventuality.

  • Conduct in depth reviews to identify personal and financial needs of customers and deliver a consistent and tailored wealth management and financial planning service to a portfolio of HSBC clients

  • Advise on a full range of products and services that include both HSBC manufactured products and those provided by external partners

  • Continuously monitor and gather information to assess potential impacts and identify possible risks and opportunities for the business.

  • Deliver needs-based solutions through effective communication and influencing

  • Adhere to HSBC policy, procedures and control requirements applicable to day-to-day working, exceptional and project activities, and raise any concerns about actual or potential issues promptly, in line with reporting and escalation procedures.

Qualifications & experience required:

  • Hold a role relevant Level 4 qualifications, i.e. Dip CII, CISI (or equivalent QCF RDR level 4 qualification)

  • Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. retail banking, relationship management, front office

  • A track record of gaining an understanding of customers' needs and delivering excellent customer service

  • A flexible and adaptable approach to change and will support others to respond in a similar way

  • Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered

  • Knowledge of financial planning and wealth products would be an advantage but not essential

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Premier Relationship Officer The role of the Premier Relationship Officer is a key administration support role, enhancing Relationship Manager's client interaction time and providing an outstanding customer experience to clients. The role provides dedicated administration support to a team of Premier Relationship Managers (PRM) in the overall achievement of their objectives. You will provide high quality service to achieve maximum customer satisfaction by resolving customer query's at first contact or qualify customer needs in order to offer relevant products, services and solutions. In this role, you will: * Support Premier Relationship Managers to manage client contact and service, including direct customer contact, facilitating a smooth hand over where appropriate, and managing key event reminders to maintain active client contact * Become knowledgeable about HSBC's Premier and Jade banking propositions and be able to assist with the more complex and demanding needs of the Bank's most affluent customers. * Work closely with a team of Premier Wealth Managers and have an understanding of the Premier Wealth journey. The successful applicant will support Wealth Managers with the administration of a range of wealth management solutions. * Be able to work together with other areas of the business, including HSBC Commercial, Private Bank and Expat to offer a joined up banking service for our Premier and Jade clients. * Build and retain a strong knowledge of the Premier Relationship Managers portfolio of clients with the support of analytical tools * Suggest ideas and contribute to implementing actions that will improve customer service, quality or the way teams and individuals work together. * Continuously monitor and gather information to assess potential impacts and identify possible risks and opportunities for the business. * Aim to resolve the customer's queries at the first point of contact and minimise referrals to the PRM for routine transactions.
