Role Purpose

E! is looking for a stellar storyteller to join the Creative Marketing Department. You will work collaboratively with a team of award winning writers, art directors, motion graphics artists, and production management. Must be comfortable with a critical role in translating network partners' marketing and strategic objectives into dynamic content that aligns with E! brand and programming.


  • Write, produce, and edit co-branded creative for Network Partnerships, Comcast NBCUniversal Symphony, and E! franchises like "Movies We Love"

  • Actively contribute to the brainstorming and RFP response process

  • Write topline thought-starters that meet brand partner marketing objectives

  • Produce shoots with network & movie studio talent

  • Direct shoots with E! News talent and voiceover sessions with E! VO talent

  • Oversee external vendors and internal teams in production of clip spots and custom spots

  • Manage workflow and project deadlines

  • Produce network upfront trailers and sizzles, image spots, show launches, and emerging content for all platforms

  • Oversee post-production and QC delivery for on-air

  • Other duties and projects as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree and/or creative experience in a similar capacity for an entertainment cable network, or broadcast network, advertising agency or creative agency

  • Minimum 5 years experience with AVID

  • Exceptional AVID skills

  • Experience creating proof of concepts, pre-viz design and animatics

  • Extensive on-air promo editing experience

  • Skilled at writing creative thought-starters, co-branded scripts, and interview questions for marquee talent

  • Strategic thinker able to translate an RFP or brand brief into exceptional partnership marketing

  • Project leadership and clear communication skills

  • Strong awareness of industry trends in design, advertising, fashion, and film

  • Strong music knowledge and music editing ability, excellent sound design skills

  • Experience leading projects with external vendors to deliver top tier creative

  • Collaborative attitude and willingness to workshop with designers and writers

  • Active contributor in a team environment and provides mentorship to junior staff

  • Pitch and presentation skills

  • Design and motion graphics skills: After Effects and or Cinema 4D

  • Directing experience

  • Creative tenacity - must be willing to work until there is a breakthrough

  • Advertising experience awareness of new work and current competitive landscape

  • Calm, collaborative attitude, and quick thinker

  • Ability to deliver great work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment

The position will work closely with marketing operating leaders and various business partners to understand business operations, manage budgets, and assist in expense planning and cost control. The Manager will partner with both the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis as well as the CFO in supporting the overall financial operations of the business while also managing a Senior Financial Analyst. Responsibilities: * Forecast, report, and analyze quarterly and annual income and cash flow statements * Participate in the preparation and presentation of the annual Budget, Long Range Plan, Quarterly Estimates, and Monthly Pacings * Partner with E! Marketing departments to develop budgets, provide variance analysis, and assist in expense planning and cost control * Manage, coach and develop a Senior Financial Analyst * Prepare financial analyses to support strategic decisions in areas of ad sales, affiliate, programming, international, marketing, new business initiatives, and general business planning * Collaborate with FP&A team and controllership to close the financial month, quarter and fiscal year * Assist in performing quarterly balance sheet analysis * Track and report key metrics including ratings, subscribers, pacing post mortems, etc. * Foster relationships with peers in operating functions and matrix organizations to influence and optimize business results * Continually review finance processes to improve overall efficiency and accuracy of the finance function * Improve existing reporting to provide better analytical tools for Finance team and senior management Qualifications/Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field * Minimum 4 years of experience in Finance or Accounting Desired Characteristics * Strong preference for prior broadcast or cable television finance experience * Must be able to think strategically with strong analytical skills and attention to detail * Must be able to work with peers in various operating functions and matrix organizations * Solid verbal/written communication skills * Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment * Self-starter * Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills * Good working knowledge of systems (SAP, BW, BPC) * Knowledge of relevant accounting principles * Strong interpersonal skills * Solid leadership skills NBC Universal Universal City CA
