Rimini Street, Inc., the world's leading independent provider of support for enterprise application software, seeks a Service Solution Architect, PeopleSoft JDE. This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in the US.

Reporting to the Sales Organization, this is a remote position where the candidate can be located near a major metropolitan area (airport) anywhere in the USA. Position Summary

The Service Solution Architect, PeopleSoft JDE will be viewed as a trusted advisor and will partner closely with the Rimini Street sales team to develop and close opportunities for PeopleSoft and JDE third party maintenance services as well as articulate the Rimini Street support model and value proposition to prospects and partners. You will also provide deep PeopleSoft and JDE product knowledge to the sales team to assist in meeting quarterly and annual target revenue objectives for the PeopleSoft and JDE product lines. You will develop sales strategies and positioning documents for the PeopleSoft and JDE product line and produce customer-specific technical responses. Additionally, you will represent the company at major industry events, influence service offering direction and positioning and continue to develop and shape improved service offerings and additional value added services.

The Service Solution Architect, PeopleSoft JDE will work as part of the overall team with Account Management and Service Delivery organizations contributing to the company's continued success selling independent, third party maintenance services by sharing best practice with cross product leadership. (Siebel, Oracle E-Business, SAP, and other industry leading ERP Systems).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the company's continued success selling third party maintenance services by sharing best practice with cross product leadership (PeopleSoft, JDE, Oracle E-Business, Oracle Technology, Siebel, and SAP)

  • Articulate the Rimini Street PeopleSoft support model and value proposition to prospects and partners with passion, confidence, clarity and conciseness

  • Provide deep PeopleSoft and JDE product knowledge to the sales team

  • Demonstrate an ability to handle objections in a positive manner

  • Demonstrate an ability to sell while also developing trust with the prospect

  • Meet quarterly and annual target revenue objectives for the PeopleSoft and JDE product lines

  • Develop sales strategy and positioning documents for the PeopleSoft and JDE product lines

  • Produce and/or deliver customer specific demonstrations and technical presentations

Additional Duties and responsibilities (other job related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time)

  • The successful candidate may be called upon from time to time to contribute to other company wide initiatives in support of the growth and profitability of the PeopleSoft and JDE product lines

  • Travel outside of your geography in support of PeopleSoft and JDE product line initiatives


Minimal Qualifications


  • The candidate is required to be near a major metropolitan area (airport) in the USAand must be able to travel as required (20%-30%)


  • 10 years or equivalent experience in a Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, Overlay Sales, Services Solutions Architect, Product Line Specialist Role promoting the PeopleSoft (required) and JDE (a plus) product lines and ecosystem

  • Background in PeopleSoft (required) and JDE (a plus) consulting sales and/or implementation experience. or End User with deep vendor knowledge

  • Strong experience in a "consultative selling" environment


  • Ability to communicate persuasively and effectively in a variety of written and verbal formats, with a wide range of people, including clients and external organizations

  • Detailed knowledge of PeopleSoft products, technology infrastructure and platforms, PeopleTools, and related technologies including tools, databases, middleware components, and SaaS solutions integration (Hybrid IT)

  • Understanding of the PeopleSoft ecosystem including PIA, Database, WebLogic, Tuxedo, and other elements of the Technology stack supporting PeopleSoft and the challenges of its technical and functional interoperability

  • Good knowledge of JDE products World and E1, and its infrastructure, platforms, and related technologies (i.e. CNC, Managed Services, Blue Stack and Red Stack), a plus. Otherwise, demonstrated ability and willingness to learn JDE product & infrastructure

  • In depth understanding of PeopleSoft software licensing practices and challenges. Similar familiarity with JDE a plus

  • Excellent communication skills (Verbal, written and presentation)

  • Strong documentation skills (Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint) are required

  • Experience with CRM systems, especially

  • Ability to work independently as required based on prospect needs

  • Strong technical ability and attention to detail

  • Start-up experience would be a huge benefit


  • Bachelor and/or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent European credentials
