We are looking for a seasoned, hardworking, smart and over achieving Sales Engineer with proven experience and a passion for selling technology solutions to senior executives. You will be responsible for selling into new prospects as well as farming back into existing customers to ensure high renewal and customer satisfaction levels. Measures of success include new customer acquisition rates, renewal rates, up-selling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction and contribution to overall sales team and business success.

Duties of the Pre-Sales Engineer:

  • Support sales executives with solution selling into prospect account base
  • Prepare, design and manage customer POVs to achieve customer trust and technical win
  • Drive customer engagements in an effort to achieve a technical win
  • Be a main driver and lead for architecting and implementing client solutions.
  • Manage technical relationship of existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and renewals
  • Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles
  • Model the financial business case associated with each sales opportunity
  • Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions
  • Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
  • Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses
  • Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements
  • Collect and document competitive intelligence



  • Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer preferably in cybersecurity
  • Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in networking and cybersecurity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and creativity skills
  • Proficiency with
  • Ability to align with Inside Sales, Channel/BD, Sales and Marketing teams
  • Strong personal network within the industry.

VIEW JOBS 10/11/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-09T00:00 The Transplant Coordinators report directly to the physician of the transplant programs with administrative oversight by the Transplant Center Director or his/her designee. The Coordinators are responsible to ensure the continuity of care of patients and living donors during the pre-transplant, transplant and discharge phases of transplantation and the donor evaluation, donation and discharge phases of donation. They serve as the central point of reference for all information about patients participating in the program. The scope of the position includes: patient care, education, quality assurance, research, administrative and financial activities, and coordination of transplant care with medical and surgical staffs as appropriate. Any one individual Transplant Coordinator may perform only a portion of the duties outlined below (e.g. may only perform pre- or post-transplant duties); however, collectively, the team of coordinators for any one organ program ensure that the full scope of duties outlined are provided. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: PATIENT CARE I. Pre-Transplant Phase Referral and Evaluation: Responsible for coordinating all aspects of referral and evaluation for potential transplant candidates: * Facilitate initial contact between referring physician and/or potential candidates and Transplant Program. * Identifies requirements for candidate evaluation to determine testing, referrals, consultation, etc. needed for candidate evaluation. * Upon referral, assesses potential recipients using Evaluation Criteria to identify appropriate candidates * Coordinates with the multidisciplinary team for Evaluation of potential transplant candidates. The evaluation is based on selection criteria and should include, but is not limited to: * Informed Consent for evaluation * Medical/surgical evaluation * Educational assessment * Laboratory evaluation * Radiological evaluation * Social Services evaluation * Nutritional evaluation * Coordinates needed consultation, testing, obtains outside test results and other data for candidate Evaluation process and subsequent admissions. * Coordinates translator services as needed * Obtains serological data for the potential transplant candidate. * Obtains transplant candidate blood type, tissue typing and cytotoxic antibodies according to Transplant Program protocol. * Identifies possible co-morbidities in transplant candidates and obtains evaluations as indicated. * Ensures that potential transplant candidates are assessed for presence of known malignancy prior to listing * Evaluates absolute and relative contraindications to transplantation for each patient for presentation to the multidisciplinary educational team * Ensures potential transplant candidate can obtain appropriate immunizations required and understands the potential risks and benefits of those immunizations prior to transplantation, in accordance with Policy and Procedure for Informed Consent of Potential Transplant Recipients and Live Organ Donors. * Functions as Candidate Advocate for the transplant candidate based on interactions with the candidate/family/legal guardian interactions. * Provides education to potential transplant candidates and their families/legal guardians about: * Living donation options * Evaluation process * Listing process * OPTN regulations * Patient Rights * Organ allocation * Waiting phase * Selection process (including inclusion/exclusion criteria) * Transplant process * Risks/benefits, including utilization of expanded donors, high risk donors, if applicable * Post-operative phase including immunosuppressive therapy and effects * Potential research protocols of the transplant program * Candidate/family/legal guardian responsibility throughout the transplant process * Responds to requests from potential transplant candidates and dialysis centers, if applicable, regarding Selection process (including inclusion and exclusion criteria). * Identifies and coordinates responses to the psychosocial, nutritional, and financial needs of potential transplant candidates/families/legal guardians. * Collects and evaluates medical and psychosocial data for review by the transplant team * Communicates with referring physicians, other health care providers, payers, and transplant team members regarding the candidate's status and evaluation outcome. * Ensures patient, referring physician, and dialysis center, if applicable are informed in writing of transplant listing, denial or deferral. * Acts as the resource person for internal and external health care providers, including patients and their family/support members * Participates in Multidisciplinary Selection patient/candidate meetings for the program. * Acts as a liaison between the transplant program and dialysis facilities, if applicable. Live Donor Program: * Identifies appropriate live organ donor candidates upon referral, based on selection criteria and clinical, psychological, laboratory, nutritional and other evaluations as appropriate to each candidate. and communicates with the multidisciplinary transplant team * Identifies requirements for and maintains confidentiality of the living donor evaluation * Coordinates with the multidisciplinary team for Evaluation of potential live organ donors. The evaluation is based on selection criteria and should include as appropriate, but is not limited to the following: * Informed Consent for evaluation * Medical/surgical evaluation * Educational assessment * Laboratory evaluation * Radiological evaluation * Psychological evaluation * Social Services evaluation * Living Donor Advocate evaluation * Nutritional evaluation * Obtains serological testing data for the potential live organ donors. * Obtains potential live organ donors blood type, serological data, tissue typing, and anti-donor cytotoxic antibodies according to Transplant Program protocol. * Identifies possible co-morbidities in potential live organ donors and facilitates evaluation as needed. * Assembles data relative to contraindications to donation. * Ensures potential live organ donors understand the risks and benefits of immunizations required prior to donation, in accordance with Policy and Procedure for Informed Consent of Potential Transplant Recipients and Live Organ Donors. * Provides education to potential live organ donors and their families about: * Evaluation process * Selection process (including inclusion/exclusion criteria) * Donation and hospitalization process * Risks/benefits * Patient Rights * Post-operative phase * Short and long-term follow up care * Donor responsibility throughout the donation process * Assesses with other clinical personnel donor's learning needs, coping skills, decision making process, long-term expectations and commitment regarding the donation process. * Identifies and responds to the educational, psychosocial and economic needs of potential live donor candidates and families. * Verbalizes understanding of live donor protocol, and acts as a resource for internal and external health care providers * Collects and reviews evaluation results with the transplant team * Participates in the determination of a potential live donor's suitability to donate for transplant according to transplant center protocol and OPTN/UNOS regulations * Identifies and coordinates responses to the psychosocial and economic needs of potential transplant candidates/families/legal guardians * Collects and evaluates medical and psychosocial data for review by the transplant team. * Facilitates meeting with Independent Live Donor Advocate. * Communicates with referring physicians, other health care providers, payers, and transplant team members regarding the candidate's status and evaluation outcome. * Assures evaluation and written assessment will be completed by the for each potential live organ donor. Pre-Transplant Waiting Period: * Facilitates admission or transfer of patient to the transplant facility as needed when called in for transplant. * Arranges any preoperative evaluation and/procedures required (e.g. dialysis, biopsy). * Ensures that patients are added/removed in a timely manner from the Transplant List per OPTN/UNOS regulations. * Maintains communication with and serves as an educational resource for referring physicians, dialysis centers, health care providers and payers. II. Transplant Phase * Facilitates admission date with donor and transplant candidate, and notifies transplant team members of pending surgery * Coordinates needed consultation and testing for transplant recipients and live organ donors throughout the admission/donation phase. * Working with the multidisciplinary team including the staff nurses, identifies and coordinates response to the educational, psychosocial and financial needs of recipients and live organ donors and families during the admission/donation phase. * Maintains/ensures communication with recipient's/donor's primary physician, and other health care providers throughout the donation procedure and post-operative recovery * Documents multidisciplinary round participation in the patient medical record (On Call) * Participates in discharge phase III. Post-Transplant Discharge Phase * Provides care, within his or her scope of practice and licensure in the outpatient setting to achieve optimal physical, social, and emotional rehabilitation. * Identifies and responds to recipient/family/legal guardian's educational, psychosocial and economic needs in the post-transplant phase. * Reinforces education and follow-up requirements necessary for successful outcome. * Observes, monitors, and assesses recipient's compliance with medications and medical regimen; collaborates with the transplant team to attain and maintain compliance. * Collects and reviews data pertinent to recipient's health and organ function and ensures that the information is documented in the patient's chart/OnCall. * Communicates lab data and diagnostic results to transplant physician/health care provider. * Implements changes in drug/treatment therapy as ordered by physicians and other credentialed health care providers. * Understands post-transplant protocols and acts as a resource for internal and external health care providers. * Arranges for consultations, diagnostic procedures and hospitalization when indicated. * Maintains communication with referring physician, and other health care providers. * Provides and maintains comprehensive documentation in patient medical record. * Identifies and responds to the educational, psychosocial and economic needs of transplant recipients/live organ donors and families during the post-transplant/follow-up phase. RESEARCH * Examines current transplant-related research. * Participates in and supports research activities within the Transplant Program and MGH Transplant Center and publishes results as appropriate. * EDUCATION * Initiate, participate and contribute to education programs for staff at the unit/service/Center levels. * Maintain clinical skills and certification as appropriate to role. ADMINISTRATIVE AND FINANCIAL * Participate in developing, implementing, and evaluating on an ongoing basis guidelines, protocols and standards. * Maintains system of record-keeping on all potential transplant candidates and liver organ donors and transplant recipients and organ donors. . * Is knowledgeable in regard to requirements for documentation, data submission, quality assurance and other reporting of UNOS, NEOB, CMS and other regulatory bodies and ensures compliance with Policy and Procedure for Data Submission to the OPTN. * Maintains monthly and annual statistics including summaries of clinical data and postoperative follow-up care. * Collaborate with the Transplant Financial Coordinator (TFC): notification of TFC of patient referral for transplantation; communicate with the TFC with regard to patient eligibility for transplant benefits. * Serves as a clinical resource to third party payers. * Participates in/provides data for site visits, requests for information, etc. of third party payers, UNOS, CMS and other regulatory bodies. * Collaborates among MGH organ-specific transplant programs to ensure efficient and effective use of resources and expertise. * Initiate and participate in required quality assurance activities. * Participate on committees and task forces that relate to organ transplantation as requested by Physician Director(s) and/or Transplant Center Director (or designee). * Works with professional and hospital billing employees and Administrative Directors to review monthly organ acquisition cost center charges to ensure accuracy. * Maintain data in clinical records and databases as appropriate to evaluation/clinical care and consistent with Transplant Center/organ-specific policies and procedures. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT * Completes/ensures completion of appropriate documentation in accordance with Institutional/Transplant Program/Center policies and procedures. * Maintains own clinical competence via ongoing education * .Reviews and integrates into practice the current professional literature in the field of transplantation * Attends practice-related conferences. * Participates in professional transplant/procurement organizations. * Shares knowledge through mentoring/precepting other Transplant Coordinators and transplant staff as needed. Professional Practice: * Assures informed consent for live donation and/or transplantation * Assures equitable access for patients into the allocation system * Assures access for patients to treatment alternatives * Protects the rights of patients, their families/legal guardians, and health care team members * Respects individual privacy and holds confidential all information obtained in the course of practice * Assures open and clear communication with patients, families and health care team members without bias or discrimination * Assures that quality and performance improvement standards are developed, implemented and maintained * Evaluates self-performance by comparing actual outcomes to expectations * Monitors recipient referrals and transplant outcomes to meet performance * Maintains cooperative relationships with other health care professionals * Acts to protect the public trust when health care and safety are endangered * Assists OPOs and other community organizations with educational presentations and information appropriate to the needs of transplant professionals and the public * Reviews, evaluates and revises education materials and programs for transplant related practice Current Massachusetts licensure as a registered nurse Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent experience required.
