Responsible for providing comprehensive technical pre-sales support to the Sales Department. Identifies, qualifies and scopes business opportunities into technical requirements for hardware, software, datasets, content, networks, and cloud infrastructure, including but not limited to integration points with 3rd party vendors, resellers, partners, systems integrators or proprietary systems.
ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT
Pre-Sales Engineer reports to the regional Pre-Sales Manager and works closely and collaboratively with the sales and account teams supported. This position may be assigned to support a geography or one or more named account teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Collect, analyze, evaluate, and interpret customer's technical requirements and turns them into strategic, accurate, cost-effective, technical proposals using Company and 3rd party solutions that meet customer's needs with tight deadlines.
Setup and configure demos and trials of Company products/services with customers and partners.
Generate sales quotes, architecture diagrams, and technical summaries of proposed solutions.
Be a trusted advisor to our customers and partners to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and identify core technical and business requirements in order to meet and exceed customer's needs, and accelerate and grow recurring revenue for the Company.
Highly adaptable to learning new technologies, tools, methods, partners, cultures and changing customer priorities.
Maintain knowledge of general market conditions / requirements and provides input to appropriate development and marketing departments to assist in decisions for enhancements to services and feature/functionality sets and pricing models.
Maintain a continuing and effective communication with other Sales Staff and customers by ensuring questions are responded to efficiently and proxied to appropriate stakeholders in other departments as necessary.
Provide coaching and professional development to sales team members in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.
Liaison with Product Management, Engineering, Cloud, Security, and Global Operations to understand details of product direction and design and communicate information back to sales organization and customers.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Strong skills to demonstrate and reason the product value to customers
Knowledge of security telemetry, EDR, and managed security services
5-8 years' experience working in a FinTech and or Cybersecurity ecosystem
3-5 years' experience in Project Management and/or Sales Engineer field with proven ability to understand customers' business models and determine cost-effective strategies for implementations.
Basic understanding of building and developing mobile applications
General knowledge of security methodology such as application security, endpoint security, encryption, authentication, network security
Ability to work remotely, independently and meet customer and Company deadlines
Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills, both presentation and written
Any of the following will be a plus:
Hands-on development skills with at least a few of the following: Android, iOS, and/or embedded Linux software development in C, C++, Java, Objective-C, Swift, Python, and JavaScript
Knowledge of Application Shielding and Reverse Engineering techniques, (such as JADX, D2J, Ghirdra, Hopper and IDA Pro) and/or of Source Code Transformation
Knowledge of pen testing strategies such as performing NESSUS scans and setting up red teams
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and familiarity with productivity tools such as Slack, JIRA and Confluence.
Excellent knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce.com, NetSuite or SugarCRM.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or similar field.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to travel up to 50% of time
