The Role We Want You For
Essential Responsibilities:
Facilitate the 4D implementation and adoption process throughout Clayco Enterprise.
Support project teams by developing, implementing, participating, and executing best practices, classification standards, modeling standards, weekly lookahead meetings, and perform gap analysis on ongoing projects.
Act as an Enterprise champion and Enterprise resource on all things 4D/5D related.
Create 4D/5D integration models in Bexel Manager to facilitate excellence in project delivery.
Collaborate with both internal and external project teams on BIM execution and procedures.
Has a clear understanding of structure data importance and the pivotal role that such data has in timely execution of Clayco projects.
Supports the Pre-Construction Technology Manager throughout the project delivery cycle.
Supports VDC, Field Managers and Engineers in all aspects of 4D/5D methodology throughout the project delivery cycle.
-Assist the business development teams 4D/5D content development.
Act as a champion and mentor with all facets of Bexel Manager process.
Regularly evaluate updates of the design & subcontractor 3D models and verify model quality compliance with BXP guidelines as specifically in support 4D/5D integration process.
Develops and assists project teams with creation of project dashboards and their connectivity to Bexel Managers Common Data Environment (CDE).
Develops customized dashboard reports indicating all major KPI's relevant for project performance, including (but not limited to) actuals in the field, WBS alignment and dynamic plan analysis. Share these findings with project teams during the weekly coordination meetings.
Work with Safety and Quality team members in developing High-Risk-Activity (HRA) analysis and presentations for project teams.
Lead 4D schedule analysis in weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors and project superintendents.
Regularly completes 4D/5D project related scorecards and prepares reports for Clayco Operations leadership.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Architecture, Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
Experience in construction, architecture, or engineering.
Minimum of 3 years field experience
KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS / ABILITIES
Expertise with the following software: Revit, Navisworks, Assemble systems, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and Scheduling software (P6 or Microsoft Project).
Familiarity with the following software and processes: Estimating (Destini, WinEst), Bexel Manager, PMWeb, Bluebeam, and Adobe Suite.
Able to read drawings, specifications, building codes, and other technical product and material specifications and interpret and manage VDC contractual obligations and responsibilities.
Able to review project schedules in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 is preferred.
Thorough understanding of common building systems and related means and methods.
Experience with construction coordination processes is strongly preferred.
Must be a self-motivated individual who works well with multi-disciplinary teams in a deadline-driven environment.
