Company chef and work from home options Amazing company culture, competitive base salary and growth opportunities About Our Client My client is a well known General Contractor that serves the DC metro area and has recently been awarded a $75 million design-build project They focus on new construction and interior renovations, with a client portfolio that includes schools, parks, and recreation renovations and upgrades. The company operates with a strong shoulder-to-shoulder mentality, emphasizing teamwork in every aspect of their work.

Job Description My client is seeking a seasoned Pre-Construction Manager to oversee K-12 renovation and ground up projects Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and objectives. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and time lines. Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other project-related expenses. Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to provide accurate cost assessments. Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the project.

Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure project feasibility. Ensure that all project activities comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards. The Successful Applicant 5 years experience commercial construction with a General Contractor Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field is highly preferred Prior experience in K-12 projects Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality and compliance Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera). Strong leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and industry best practices.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
