Pre-Construction Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION: Pre-Construction Manager Reports to:

Regional Operations Manager Position Mission: Lead, manage, and hold accountable regional estimators to position the company to be successful in the pursuit of projects that support the regional goals. Job Responsibilities: 1) Continuously improve estimating process and systems 2) Collaborate with operations team to grow our subcontractor base 3) Coordinate weekly meetings with estimating team to discuss strategy 4) Attend pre-bid meetings as necessary and gather information required to develop a cost estimate and proposal 5) Communicate with association managers and or engineers to clarify the scope of work 6) Obtain multiple material, equipment and subcontractor quotes in an effort to find the best value for the best price 7) Review project cost estimates utilizing estimating spreadsheet templates 8) Facilitate presentations
