Pre Admission Nursing Assistant- Pre Admissions- FT- 1St Shift

Overview

Job Summary: The Nursing Assistant works under the direction on the RN.

The responsibilities include providing direct patient care and maintaining patient care standards. Must demonstrate the ability to work with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds; to organize; set priorities and manage multiple tasks; and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent, basic keyboard or ability to use personal computer.

Experience: Previous patient care experience preferred.

Additional Skills/Abilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to manage situations related to family and visitors, patients of varied ages and needs and other hospital departments. A positive attitude toward healthcare members and diverse patient populations. Exhibits diplomacy and time management skills.

Demonstrates efficiency and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats. BLS Healthcare Provider must be maintained.
