In this role you will be responsible for leading efforts within the portfolio in collaboration with the Portfolio Director (PD). The responsibilities will cover the following key areas and is further described below.
3.Staff Management and Mentoring
A Portfolio Team Leader is billable and engaging clients, leading teams, and providing project oversight across numerous clients and efforts simultaneously. The following are the four key areas of responsibilities for a Portfolio Team Leader.
Engagement Leadership involves leading CampusWorks teams to achieve the outcomes and measurable results for which the client contracted. In doing so, position the client for sustainable change leaving each client better than when we began.
Lead project efforts and provide leadership over project efforts across the portfolio
Sales transitions planning through entire delivery of the effort.
Working with key client contacts to establish delivery timeline, approach; aligning client and CampusWorks expectations for success for all.
Coordinating scheduling for the CampusWorks team, working with Scheduling Office to ensure all team members are appropriately scheduled.
Managing the overall budgeted hours to actual, ensuring minimal to no variance.
Coordinating with all CampusWorks team members on their roles, responsibilities and expectations for the full effort, onsite and remote.
Ensuring the CampusWorks standards are upheld by all team members throughout the effort with the client, onsite or remotely.
Leading the monthly site review for the related project efforts.
Collaborate across CampusWorks Portfolio Areas to deliver efforts across Portfolio Areas
Ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities across entire client effort, including project leaders and portfolio area leaders involved, from the Sales Transition through to completion.
Define the approach to working with the client, ensuring the client has a clear communication plan with all CampusWorks deliverables in sync and alignment.
Align team members with their efforts, ensuring they are fully aware and informed of the overall effort and all who are involved.
Identify and resolve client issues, keeping the Portfolio Leader and others well informed.
Build relationship with the client contacts and executive sponsors.
Ensure client expectations are being met and adjust team approach as needed to ensure client expectations for these efforts are met if not exceeded.
Keep the Portfolio Director and other CampusWorks members involved with this client up to date and informed of all possible issues or concerns.
Document issues and resolutions and post to CwikConnect to be available for all to review as needed.
Portfolio Development efforts involve working in collaboration with the Portfolio Director and other portfolio areas, to create, share and maintain the tools, checklists and templates that will ensure our teams can deliver value effectively to our clients.
Drive our teams to find measurable value and drive measurable results for our clients by establishing the approaches, materials and standards that allow us to measure before and after engagement outcomes are achieved.
Create all materials associated with the effective preparation for and delivery of services in the portfolio, including but not limited to checklists, templates, scope statements, and standards to be followed by team members and leaders.
Work in collaboration with the portfolio and scheduling to ensure engagements are staffed with the right people.
Develop, mentor and train staff on the effective use of specific tools for the portfolio.
Staff Management and Mentoring
Staff management and mentoring includes having employees and consultants assigned to Portfolio Team Leaders with the PTL responsible for personnel management, working in collaboration with the PortfolioDirector, and aligned with the CampusWorks established guidelines for personnel management.
Sales Support is working in collaboration with the Business Development team to:
Develop the delivery processes, procedures and staff training necessary for the successful rollout of new services in the portfolio area and across portfolio areas.
Serve as advisor and SME with the product manager during the development of new service offerings.
Participate in proposal development and prospect meetings, including solution architecture and efforts (hours), scope statements and team make up for the engagement.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
This is a full-time virtual position. Corporate office hours are generally Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; however, the nature of the business often requires work beyond these hours and some weekend or evening hours are necessary for coordination, travel or emergency situations; requires travel to and from the client location via auto and/or air. The role requires the use of typical mobile equipment such as a laptop and cell phone.
