The Practice Manager at Laredo Physicians Group (LPG) plays a crucial role in supporting our Practice Administrators from an operational perspective. They oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinics, providing leadership, coaching, and inspiration to the clinic staff.

  • Management of all practice activities including: patient scheduling, registration, financial counseling, medical records, billing and collection, data entry and processing, cash posting, clinic certifications and licenses, required education, inventory and resource utilization.

  • Ensure smooth, accurate, efficient, safe, high quality, compliant, productive operations of assigned medical practices in accordance with state, federal and local regulations, and requirements.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain office policies and procedures. Uphold IPM and UHS policies, goals, and standards.

  • Facilitate consistent and productive formal and informal communication and practice rounding with all practice personnel, including providers.

Independence Physician Management (IPM), a subsidiary of UHS, was formed in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS. IPM develops and manages multi-specialty physician networks and urgent care clinics which align with UHS acute care facilities. It also provides select services for the Behavioral Health division of UHS. Through continuing growth, IPM operates in 11 markets across six states and the District of Columbia. Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required. In lieu of degree, 5-7 years healthcare experience with at least two (2) years being in a supervisor capacity.
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience, preferable in a healthcare environment.
