Practice Manager

Shift: Full-time Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm

We invite you to come join the RadNet team as Practice Manager for our Oncology and Molecular Imaging Center- Tarzana site.

This position serves as a Site Manager responsible for directing all activities of the site, including maintenance of Facility/Site budget by effective cost/cash management and increasing revenue through engagement with referring physician community, promoting a productive and enjoyable work environment for employees resulting in enhanced patient experience and positively reflecting our Company's mission.

As a Practice Manager you will have the opportunity to:

Responsible for full-scale management of all site staff including; hiring, training, coaching and discipline, as well as recommendation to operations and Human Resources of promotion worthiness of staff exceeding expectations or discharge of employee's not meeting expectations.

• Works closely with and promotes a positive working relationship with attending radiologists and staff, building a collaborative team approach.

• Completes and approves performance evaluations (90 day and annual).

• Ensures proper staffing levels and reallocates employee resources as needed to ensure smooth office operations, including overtime approval, as needed.

• Promotes teamwork and makes high morale a consistent goal.

• Forecasts budget based on costs and works to ensure maintenance and growth of exam volume while also focusing on keeping expenses low.

• Prepares bi-weekly payroll for corporate office.

• Accurately maintains and logs petty cash.

• Accurately records all financial transactions with patients (i.e., co-pays) and directs monies to corporate office on a timely basis. Ensures training of staff relative to cash acceptance policies and regularly audits site records to ensure regulatory and billing compliance and reduce cash losses through inaccuracy or theft.

• Maintains filing, inventory, and record keeping in accordance with company policies.

• Assists in resolving billing issues by meeting with patients to discuss problems and coordinating resolution with appropriate internal billing entities.

• On a timely basis, reviews and judiciously approves invoices, making sure that all are coded correctly.

• Reviews all workers' compensation (W/C) and personal injury (PI) billing, ensuring accuracy and completion before submission to Reimbursement Operations/W/C department.

• Responsible for preparing procedure/revenue reports.

• Addresses equipment issues and informs materials management and/or regional management of equipment downtime.

• Relays information regarding site conditions beyond authority, which could impact the quality of care of service that we provide or disrupt site operations, to the appropriate department or individual.

• Assists Director of Operations as needed with special assignments and special projects.
