Responsibilities

• Directs broad operations of a medical practice to ensure the provision of comprehensive departmental services in compliance with all regulatory agencies and hospital requirements.

• Ensures a collaborative departmental approach to long-range strategic operational planning, care and service design and development of organizational standard work, policies, procedures, and daily standard work, which reflect the mission of the organization and the strategic development of the practice.

• Coordinates and oversees departmental services. Continuously assesses measures and improves departmental performance through positive employee engagement activities. Inspires others with the credibility to enlist action.

• Demonstrates clinical, technical, and managerial competency. Analyze results, derive conclusions and recommend improvement activities and priorities.

• Read financial data in order to prioritize activities that improve the financial health of the practice through responsible management of departmental resources.

• Effectively communicate vertically and horizontally throughout the organization and externally to patients and other stakeholders.

• Utilize a scientific approach to problem solving utilizing scientific method, lean, Six Sigma, etc.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field or equivalent experience

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Previous healthcare management experience

• Knowledge of medical terminology

• Knowledge of state and federal eligibility and funding
